The Almonry is a beautiful C14th building in the heart of the historic market town of Evesham. Once the home of the Almoner, one of the Benedictine Monks from the Abbey, the Almonry is now the town museum, Tourist Information Centre and gift shop. The museum tells the story of Evesham and the Vale from pre-history to mid-twentieth century with a beautiful garden, ideal for sitting and relaxing. Our gift shop stocks a wide range of souvenirs, postcards, walking maps and guides, books, gifts and handcrafted goods made by local makers and crafters. The Tourist Information Centre is packed with leaflets and guides to Evesham and the surrounding area. TIC staff are on hand to welcome you to Evesham and to help you get the most out of your visit and stay.
Loved the gardens & the mongoose grave stone!! Lots of local history & artefacts. The building alone is worth the visit & the £4.50 entry fee lasts for a full year means you can visit as many times as you like! The guy on reception was a font of information too very interesting. You could see he was passionate about his job & such a good story teller. Well done Evesham Museum

Jane and I from funky faces were face painting for the Christmas light switch on event in November. The lion club volunteers are so helpful in running everything. Everyone had a super time with Santa. All free or for a small donation to the lions club.

We had parked at the far side of town from the "Pepperpot" so only found the information office after we had explored many of the streets. With hindsight we wish we had gone there first and discovered all the information we needed to understand all the history of the town. The history of the church which once stood on that site is fascinating and the use of the old church tower as a base for visitor information is brilliant.

They do quite a few functions and film nights, always a good time, the big band night was another one, well organised, warm and comfortable. They sell bottled beer, mostly from Bewdley brewery, and well known brand's in cans, there's also a good choice of spirit's, ciders and wine's. The council Car park is free after 6.30pm. Well worth a visit.

As a local resident, although the information on maps and the address of the Malvern Tourist Information Centre are correct, the photo on Trip Advisor is of the PREVIOUS premises, now for sale. Is it beyond the wit of the Trip Advisor or the TIC to post a photo of the current location? It would be more helpful to visitors....

The Hive is unique - it houses the University of Worcester's academic library alongside the city's public library. It also has a business centre, a studio with raked seating, an archaeology department, several art display areas and a lovely cafe. Entry is free and the staff are very helpful. Prices in the cafe are fair, which offsets the pay and display Council car park to the rear of the building and it's almost next door to the bus terminus and a short walk from Foregate Street Railway Station. And... It opens every day until 10pm!
