Dhananjaya from Onway Tours. is the best! I got in touch about 4 months in advance via WhatsApp, he's such a pro and was always at hand to help with any questions we had. We were coming to Ella from Galle and wanted to do UdaWalawe safari too, Dhananjaya pulled all the strings and arranged pick-up, transfer to UdaWalawe, Safari which was about 4.5 hours, transfer to Ella and left us at the very door of our hotel (which wasn't actually easy to find). I also asked him about trains from Ella to NuwaraEliya, he went and booked them for me for my requested date. Great, friendly service, honestly couldn't have asked for better! 100% recommend Onway Tours if you come to Ella.

We had a great experience with Mihi. He’s an excellent communicator and logistics were painless. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, greatly helped our understanding of the country and brought us to some off the beaten track spots. Although our trip was not hiking/camping oriented, that’s really Mihi’s specialty - so if you’re planning an outdoors focused trip to the hill country give Mihi a buzz.

The park offers everything that is needed for an exciting safari. Great landscapes, many animals, especially elephants! We were very close to the elephants and were very lucky to be able to watch a whole herd and also some baby elephants. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize our tour guide - not only did he inspire and excite us with his very good mood, he also saw many small animals with his trained eye and answered our questions thoroughly. The 3 hours passed by in no time and gave us many nice memories. Would totally recommend booking a trip with these guys :-)

This was an absolutely exciting excursion we tried in Dambulla in 2017. We were safely taken care of until we landed and were treated with a lovely round of champagne. The ride was totally fun, you could get a really spectacular view of the area to a very large extent. It was really fun to move through the mist and wind. The safety measure were high and the team was well experienced. A team would follow the balloon throughout on a jeep and arrive at the destination to help with the landing.

Tigers, Elephants and big game had obviously taken the day off. We saw Peter Rabbit and his family, a tortoise breaking the land speed record, monkeys, spotted deer, a land monitor and a crocodile that was so far away that it could have been just a fallen tree. The road was bumpy and perhaps our squeaking vehicle frightened the animals away. We actually saw more animals - a whole herd of elephants, while driving from point to point.
