Segway tour of the Zaanse Schans Exploring the Dutch landscape on a Segway is a fantastic experience. Gliding 20 cm above the ground, effortlessly and silently through the countryside. Our guides take you through the history of the area around the Zaan river in small groups. The Zaan region is characterized by a rich industrial history with charming old buildings, factories, extensive polders and typical Dutch windmills. The departure point for your Segway experience is the old “Klene” licorice factory located on the River Zaan. Information and specifics Number of participants Maximum of 7 participants per guide. Day and times Every day, 3 times a day between 1 April and 1 December. Tours start at: 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Cost and duration € 60 per person. The tour lasts a total of 90 minutes, which includes about 20-30 minutes of instruction at our location. Safety Wearing a helmet is compulsory during the tour. What if it rains? We will provide you with the use of a Gore-Tex (waterproof and breathable) jacket. Our tours always go ahead – regardless of the weather, rain or shine.
