We went to Estero Llano Grand SP to watch birds and joined a guided excursion with Tom and Connie. The park is very well maintained with several great trails. Eastern screech owl was a real treat))

There’s indoors and there’s outdoors. Take your pick to start and do both. This flea market is very deceptive. At first, it doesn’t look like you’ll want or be interested in anything. Then, you discover a couple of unique items. And then something else catches your eye in one of the clothing stores. And before you know it, you’re shopping and buying. Prices are very reasonable and there’s lots of variety. Also, there’s live music entertainment outside. Enjoy!

I visited for the first time on March 14, 2016. They are currently hosting a rare Blue Bunting (unfortunately I didn't see it on either of my visits). There are numerous feeding stations and water features throughout with lots of benches/chairs to sit on and enjoy the birds.

We offer Segway Tours on South Padre Island and many other great sites through out the Rio Grande Valley as low as $45 pp! We have 1 hour and 1.5 hour tours DAILY on South Padre Island for $65 & $85 per person. We can also accommodate up to 2 children 5 & under in our trailer w/a max weight of 80lbs. Rider minimum ages are 10 - 12 with a weight of 75-100 lbs. Maximum weight is 260-300 lbs.
Brian and Rachael Bunton operate this business and do a great job in selecting areas to visit and sites that are the most interesting to see. Some people think they might not be able to ride a Segway, but find it easy with a few minutes practice with the Buntons. Their rides are fun, relatively inexpensive, and provide a new way to see scenery in a quiet, serene way. Their tours cover areas of the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, and even include South Padre Island, where they have a satellite office.

This summer, I recently discovered this center and was very impressed by its presence and service. It makes a great educational resource with the information and activities available, the community benefits from its location and access and its purpose helps preserve and beautify not only Weslaco but our awesome RGV!

Stopped in on a Wednesday, with a group, and had a great time. You can bring your own hard liquor, and order setups(ice, water, sodas etc.) Live entertainment in the afternoon, with dancing. Beer is sold onsite, with 6 beer in a tub of ice for $15.00. Band was great, with a special appearance by an 11 yr. old girl, who was on America's Got Talent. Service was good, and timely. Fun afternoon!
