Los Roques forms a beautiful framework of more than 50 keys and 300 sandbanks, in the form of an atoll, which makes it unique and incomparable to this group and insular of the Venezuelan seas. It is located in the Caribbean Sea, in the north of Venezuela, between 11º 44 '45' 'and 11º 58'36' 'north latitude and 66º 32'42' 'and 66º 52'27' 'west longitude of Greenwich , being concentrated about 120 km. North of Naiquatá on the Coast of the Capital District. The Archipelago of Los Roques forms a rectangle of 36.7 km.

A wonderful sight to see. The entire National Park is very amazing and the Roques de Garcia are really beautiful. Good place to enjoy the area and the views around the crater. :)

I went from Los Cristianos by public bus to Mt Teide and back. Many people on the bus unfortunately could not get tickets when they arrived as they became all booked up when they queued. Effectively half the bus did not get tickets and had to wander around the cable car area for a few hours. Luckily I had heard in advance about this problem, and booked online a ticket the day before a time slot with Volcano Teide experience. I booked the 12:50pm slot and got a mobile ticket. I would not advise any later than this, due to the time it took for the cable car to get to the top and back again, and the long walk, if you want to make it back in time for the bus to return to the resort. The views are spectacular. When you arrive at the top, to see more views you have to turn right and there is a long walk to get even more spectacular views across a marked trail and rocks. Some people gave up at this point, as the altitude made them feel weak. I felt weak initially too, but was prepared as I had brought some water and a sugary chocolate bar to eat. This gave me all the sudden boost in energy at high altitude I needed to do the walk. There are machines at the top serving chocolate bars and sugary drinks presumably for this reason. The walk itself is very stony and cold. It is best to wear boots, or the very least strong shoes, and warm protective clothing. The shop/restaurant area is nice at the cable car was a comfortable place to sit. I would also check the weather forecast for Mt Teide on google before you go.
