Airline unclaimed baggage ends up here, and you can buy the lost items at bargain-basement prices.
Worth the trip. If you love to shop, you'll have a ball here. The shop has children's items, adult clothing, purses, glasses, golf clubs, everything you can pack in a suitcase or would carry on board. I plan to return with a list of items I need now that I've been there.

This beautiful cave system features unique rock formations and ancient relics.
A must see. Huge and expansive caverns which became more beautiful the further you went. Takes about two hours to go through and the walk can get a little steep in places. The guide was Great! Don't miss this cavern if you are in the area.

While driving around following Civil Rights trails, we drove into Scottsboro and were pleased to find a Center devoted to the Scottsboro Boys.
The center is educational and full of details.
The docents are very friendly and willing to share their experiences and stories.
Well worth the stop for people interested in Civil Rights issues.
Only open 2nd/3rd Saturday or by appointment.

This is a house that belonged to the Proctor family at a time when Scottsboro was a booming town. It has been turned into a museum with lots of ancestry records. The staff is so helpful and has records and land files as well as family records. The entire house is not open due to age but the grand downstairs has been turned into a history museum of the Proctors. Doing ancestry and having business matters in Huntsville I made the short drive up. I was amazed at the records they had access to.
Classes and events designed to bring people together for socialization, laughter and entertainment. We offer painting classes (acrylic, pastel & oil), arts and craft classes, cookie & cake decorating classes, jewelry making, basket weaving, crochet and so much more! Our building is also available to rent for gatherings up to 100 people.
