Worth the trip. If you love to shop, you'll have a ball here. The shop has children's items, adult clothing, purses, glasses, golf clubs, everything you can pack in a suitcase or would carry on board. I plan to return with a list of items I need now that I've been there.

Scottsboro-Jackson Heritage Center

This is a house that belonged to the Proctor family at a time when Scottsboro was a booming town. It has been turned into a museum with lots of ancestry records. The staff is so helpful and has records and land files as well as family records. The entire house is not open due to age but the grand downstairs has been turned into a history museum of the Proctors. Doing ancestry and having business matters in Huntsville I made the short drive up. I was amazed at the records they had access to.
