Tougas is definitely one of the best apple picking farms I've done. What sets it apart are the clear descriptions of the apple trees, which tell you on the ends of the orchard which trees are which. We found that, despite coming later in the season, there were plenty of apples to pick from and we easily filled several 20 pound bags. One tip, if you buy a 10 pound bag and find you have too many apples for it, you can switch to the 20 pound bag out where you're actually picking the apples. There were also pumpkins and squashes for sale during our trip, plus a number of goats and other farm animals to be pet. Lunch options are there if you're feeling hungry, with burgers, cobbler, apple cider, and a small farm store attached to the farm. Admission to the farm is free, though apple bags will cost you.

A little bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Clean carts, very clean fairways even though it was the middle / end of October. Very enjoyable golf course. A Massachusetts must play public course in my opinion.
