This trip to Living Treasurers was a business trip. We arrived about opening time and parking was plentiful. Paid and entered through a gift shop. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the park in general and the walkways were easy to navigate. There were many animals and they all appeared to be living in a healthy environment. The Giraffes were amazing to see in a 'small zoo'. I thoroughly enjoyed the animals but there was very little interaction with the several 'staff' members. .

The New Castle, PA Scottish Rite Cathedral is truly a hidden gem. Among the largest of such structures in the world, this building is amazing in that it has not been restored since it was built in the 1920's but it has been maintained! The auditorium seats well over 2000, the organ is a Mueller, one of only 2 left operational in the USA and the chandelier is gorgeous and wired to change colors. The meeting rooms are plentiful, beautiful and spacious with original terrazzo floors and a huge modernized kitchen. I would highly recommend this facility for an event or to attend a production.

The grounds are really pretty and include a waterfall, and it's a lovely place for a stroll or picnic. At the time of this review, the playground is currently roped off and new equipment is being installed, And the buildings are all currently shut down, boarded up, and closed. The same is true for the pool area.
I can imagine the place full of life and fun in the summer and hope my imagination proves true on my next visit.

Waitress was very nice. We chose to eat outside, and enjoyed the atmosphere. They were out of the special which was crab cake sandwich. We selected chicken wings with mild garlic sauce. Their menue had an entire page of sauces for wings. We also had mushrooms, and chili poppers which were also good. No wine on menu, just beer, soft drinks, and alcohol.

Twenty Six is a neighborhood sports bar that offers a restaurant quality bar menu. We make all of our food in house from scratch with two experienced chefs. We also off live music from acoustic, bands and dj's. We like to say.....FRESH. SIMPLE. DELICIOUS.
Some co-workers and I have been looking to try the new menu for lunch at 26. We were thoroughly impressed. The new menu is diverse - in both items and portions. The food was EXCELLENT. We had the Chimichangas, Brazed beef sliders, HUGE Philly Sandwich, and Fish tacos. Yes ALL of these items are on the same menu and yes they were all excellent. Well prepared - attractive presentation - fantastic flavor - and great portions. All served hot and fresh by super friendly staff! Our new addition for lunch outing on this side of town!

Tove and the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, and a friendly atmosphere. The room was clean & it was just like being he. I recommend Caravan Alberto to anyone. While I was their I saw a banquet hall that was beautiful done to have a wedding reception. Above all else, Tove would do anything accommodate you.

Many bowling lanes in PA seem to be stuck in the 1990s. Colonial Lanes fits that bill. The lanes themselves are well maintained and everything appears to be functional, but it looks like they haven’t invested in anything in a very long time. There is auto scoring (again using the same software from the 90’s), shoes available for rent, pool tables, and pro shop. We were there on a Friday evening and it wasn’t packed but active and the people there all seemed to be there to bowl and enjoy their time. Important note: cash only, no cards accepted. The only thing not stuck in the time warp is the price. Three games will run you just over $10 per person, not including shoe rental.
