The new handicap accessible cabins are lovely, as pictured. The park has a spacious meeting room facility and a landscape of shallow lakes, a spring run with a small spring, the site of a small mill, and unusual native needle palms (Rhapidophyllum hystrix) growing along the spring run. Uplands are longleaf pineland with thriving wiregrass (Aristida), many other grass and herb species, and relatively few shrubs and trees. The wiregrass has recovered well over the past 20 or more years, and has become an impressive sight. Especially in spring, there's plenty of wildflowers, starting early. There's also sandhill cranes.

We (my wife, myself and our 8 year old daughter) visited the facility today, specifically to interact with Indah a 3 month old tiger. The folks were welcoming, caring, knowledgeable and provided an unforgettable morning. When we arrived we were promptly greeted by one of the volunteers who gave us a brief run down on what to expect. Then we were taken onto a back patio for about a 20 min interaction with the baby tiger. You can see in the pictures, it was fantastic. Carl (from what I understand the owner and man who founded this facility) allowed us to give her a bottle and then play with her for a while. After this was over we were taken around the facility and allowed to interact with several other animals including feeding lemurs, getting to pet a fennec fox, a bobcat, and several others. The best part was we never felt rushed and the entire staff was very hospitable. I would return in a min!!

If you like endless tables of "antiques", this is a pretty good place to stop in a town with very few places worth stopping for. We looked at lots of stuff, but ended up buying nothing. That is not because of high prices, just lack of interest on our part.

Rooterville, A Sanctuary Inc

Rooterville is home to over 400 rescued farm animals, mainly pigs. Its a beautiful place with lush gardens surrounded by nature. If you love animals, Rooterville will be an experience you'll never forget! Unlike zoos, with animals in pens, you are in the animals' home when you step onsite. Interact with as many as you like, all are affectionate, curious and we welcome visitors to bring small snacks to feed them. Tinsel the cow loves bananas! Great snacks for the pigs will be baby carrots, sliced apples, grapes, etc. Come and experience life on a farm with only happy endings! Learn about what factory farming is doing to our environment and animals and take information so you can make a difference too! Rooterville has facilities available for rent for parties, weddings or events. Its an amazing, magical place! Visits are free and by appointment. We suggest a donation of $10 per person, whatever you give is appreciated and keeps the animals fed and healthy, they are grateful for that!

Not at all what we expected. Grandkids were disappointed. Took forever to find the place too and we thought we were going to kill the car on those backroads. Should’ve brought the truck.

The track is fun and really a good time for all. They offer rally car, autocross, off road, exotic car rides and even go carts. This is truly a fun place for the motorsports enthusiast. The down side is that there is not dedicated viewing are other than a small berm. There is then one small covered picnic table area. I was expecting shaded viewing with a better angle for spectators.

The chef here does a good job in the preparation and presentation of the dishes and considering that it's a bar the food is actually pretty good. The Cuban sandwich is nowhere close to being authentic but everything else is good.
