An Clochán Liath (called Dungloe or Dunglow in English) is a Gaeltacht town in County Donegal in Ulster, Ireland. It is the main town in The Rosses and the largest in the Donegal Gaeltacht. Dungloe developed as a town in the middle of the 18th century, and now serves as the administrative and retail centre for the west of County Donegal, and in particular The Rosses, with the only mainland secondary school for the area.

This bar is a wonderful place to spend an evening and enjoy some good quality Guinness with friends and catch up. The bartender/owner is a great guy and always welcoming. He keeps the bar clean and has great staff. I wish I could visit more often. Love this place!

We had two nights in Dungloe and finished both of them off enjoying a pint in this really comfortable, friendly bar. The pub has been done up really nicely with a fantastic outdoor decking area at the back with amazing views. The staff and locals sitting at the bar were very friendly and we enjoyed listening to their chat. Toilets were spotless too.

Please note that Fintown Railway will remain closed for the 2020 season due to the situation surrounding Covid-19. The Fintown Railway is the only operational railway in Co. Donegal. Set amidst spectacular highland scenery overlooking Lough Finn, the railway (3 m/5km) is a restored section of the former County Donegal Railway. What is on offer is a unique journey along the shores of a lake as grand as any in Switzerland or Minnesota.
