Clinton is the county seat of Van Buren County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,602 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous city in the county (reclaiming the distinction from the resort community of Fairfield Bay). The city was named for DeWitt Clinton, the New York governor who built the Erie Canal; he had also been a U.S. Senator from New York.

We enjoyed the marina. There were TONS of fish and turtles to feed for .50/bag, they have nice boats to rent for hours or the day, very nice souvenirs to purchase.

We saw the sign for this as we were traveling by motorcycle and decided to check it out and stretch our legs! The beautiful, paved winding road descended 500 feet and was so much fun! Not sure it was worth the $5 per person but learning the history of the site was pretty cool. Appreciated the clean restrooms.

For the exception of the Indian Rock Cave and cove trail, and the falls trail, the rest are actually undeveloped cut out roads that never were paved or developed. Most have street signs. We use them to ride ATVs and you can ride almost all day and with your map app on phone you will never get lost. There are many rock formations, trees, wildlife, waterfalls to see. It has become an entertaining escape for the family.

Archey Fork Park & River Walk is part of the City of Clinton's new park & trail system, crossing through the historic downtown and along the Archey Creek of the Upper Little Red River, a recently restored nature conservation area. The grounds host a softball complex, outdoor classroom, wildlife garden, seating, a covered bridge, restrooms, a kiddie park, and over a mile of maintained track within walking distance of restaurants & shops.
A beautiful city park right along the Archey Fork of the Little Red River. There has been a great deal of work done to make this a nice place- a nice, concrete walking trail, pavilion, fishing pond for kids and senior citizens, walk-in access to the river, playground equipment, and disk golf.

Ranked the #1 resort golf course in Arkansas, Mountain Ranch is an 18 hole championship layout carved out of splendid natural Ozark beauty. Renowned architect Edmund Ault's challenging 6,780 yard masterpiece will have you coming back time and time again. Along with the vacation amenities of nearby Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River, Mountain Ranch offers the finest in family vacation planning.
I usually play at Mountain Ranch Golf Course three or four times a year. I met some friends for a midweek round recently. The course was in good shape after having received an abundance of rain during the month of May. This is a mountain course with a lot of elevation changes. It is a challenging layout with some nice views on the back nine.

Fishing Guide Service on Greers Ferry Lake. Capt Mick has been fishing professionally for 30 years. Come enjoy a 1/2 day of fishing in waters that have produced World Record Walleye and Hybrid Striped Bass. Fishing with Capt Mick ensures that you will have a great fishing experience.
Captain Mike knows where to find the fish on Greers Ferry Lake. Two of us had a great morning fishing and caught enough fish to feed our vacationing group of eight for dinner. The bass put up a good fight and Captain Mike took care of everything for us (except our fishing licenses).
