Centerville is a town in Hickman County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 3,644 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat, and the only incorporated city or town in Hickman County. It is probably best known for being the hometown of country comedian Minnie Pearl.

Out of the way, 12 miles from I-40, but well worth the trip. We prefer the sweet wines but occasionally like dry wine and they have both & several we like.

Hickman County Chamber of Commerce

The Grinder's Switch Center is located inside the Hickman County Chamber of Commerce. There is a museum in the Center that exhibits memorabilia from Minnie Pearl, Del Reeves, Blake Shelton, Beth Slater-Whitson, Howdy Forrester, Paul Warren, Dicky Wells, Mike Smithson and more! We are also home to the Grinders Switch Hour, a live radio show, that is held every Saturday starting at 10am. Admission is free! Come on in and find you a seat!

Centerville Municipal Golf course is a public nine-hole course owned and operated by the Town of Centerville. Annual passes are available as well as walk up rates. There is a restaurant inside the clubhouse as well as renovated restrooms. Carts are available for rent. The clubhouse facilities are available for rent for all types of events and catering services are also offered.

This place has an unbelievable amount of antiques! It’s a “Pickers Paradise”! Located just off the square in Centerville, Tennessee. They have over 5,000 square feet of stuff.
