Brightlingsea Beach

Reviewed By PASTELVXBES - Braintree, United Kingdom

So lovely for a walk around. Has a beautiful little estuary/beach area and a small little water section that’s washed up from the beach, great for kids to play in and easy to watch young children. Good place to paddleboard or go on a boat. Fish and chip shops also nearby. Toilet facilities available. Lots of parking, some free and some only paying a small fee to park there. Play area for kids and a basketball area for teens. Lots of areas to go crabbing. Hidden gem!

A beautifully presented history of Brightlingsea that had us completely absorbed and almost overwhelmed with information. Not to be missed - allow a good hour - it's free, but we just had to make a donation (t'would 'ave been rather mean not to!). The DVD at £2.50 is a bargain.
