Recently reopened as the Museum of East Dorset. The kids loved it - lots of exhibitions about the area, history, heritage, people and places of Dorset. There is a very pretty garden and also a tearoom. The volunteers are friendly and have plenty of knowledge. We felt safe with the sanitising and distancing procedures set up. Highly recommended.

So glad we made this visit. There is lots of interesting information available, the car park is free for national trust members, and the whole site is amazing. A perfect place for the dogs to enjoy the beautiful views whilst we enjoyed the views and stunning countryside on offer.

Dreamboats is a charity founded in the year 2000 by Pat Hymers and her vision was to see People enjoying the lovely river stour again. In the 60s and 70s people used to come from miles around to enjoy the river but when the boat yard was used for development the foot traffic fell. But now it starting to become people’s favourite place again to come and hire a boats or kayaks or to bring the children to the park with a picnic. So why not come down and enjoy it with us. Are hire prices are as follows: Kayak & Canoe Hire: £12 P/H, Rowing boats: £15 p/h Electric motor boat: £18 p/h

We have had a fantastic day out at Wimborne model town today, our 3 year old absolutely loved it and so did us adults. Lots to do; we did a quiz to find things around the model village for a small prize, played crazy golf, giant chess, explored the garden, played in the play area, watched the model train set in action and had a picnic outside with tea from the tea room. We spent 3 hours there. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. What a great find, very highly recommended ⭐️
