Home to the oldest existing lifeboat in the world. Built in 1802. 2 Floors of exhibits, artefacts, photos, paintings and other displays.
Called while walking through Redcar and although the museum was closed a guy opened the doors to let us in( and dogs) a very knowledgeable member of staff who informed us about the lifeboat and the local area we thoroughly enjoyed our visit a must if in the area

We attended the twilight owl experience and really enjoyed ourselves. We had a guided tour of the centre, watched owls flying, handled smaller owls.....and had a lovely bowl of soup! The staff were amazing and so dedicated to the birds. Highly recommended

Our first venture out since lockdown. A leisurely stroll through the park on a sunny afternoon. What could be better? Well a nice cup of coffee from the cafe in the park, but we decided not to join the queue. It was good to see them busy after a terrible Summer so far.

I went about a month ago for the first time in 2-3 years and didn't know what to expect but I wasn't disappointed at all really we went in and there was a bouncy castle for the younger ones and just a small walk through to the area where you watch the races and we watched a few races and we were happy being very close to the action and we even won money for the last race. Will deffo come again soon!

I love this beach so much. It's very long and well maintained. Not a mess unlike the part nearer the town. You are allowed dogs on this section and usually people take good care as not to have a disruptive dog. Tons and tons of space for a picnic, paddle or just chill out watching the world go by. If you are feeling energetic you can go in either direction for a lovely walk to the south gare to see the lighthouse or go in the other direction and pass the town and the chip shops with the best ice cream (lemon top) towards Marske and Saltburn. Not any seating really on this section but just take a chair or sit on your blanket or just feel the sand.On a good day it's great to paddle in the sea. Parking right ext to the beach. A small fee but well worth it. Watch out for them seagulls if you are having chips. A great little gem. Please take your litter home.

A fantastic vertical pier which has beautiful views across the Yorkshire coastline. Plenty of parking nearby . Lift is available as well as stairs to reach the top. It is free to get in and well worth the visit. There is a cafe as well.
