We loved the entire experience! We were supposed to be picked up from our hotel by Expedition Mi-Loup at 10am but the driver was sick. The office were prompt and arranged for a taxi to pick us up which they covered the cost of. The winter gear we rented was all in great condition and even though we had been dog-sledding elsewhere before, it was helpful having the quick run-through with our friendly guides as the snow was more icy this time. We did the 1.5 hour dog-sledding and we absolutely loved it! The dogs were very happy and the scenery was amazing, such a beautiful island! Also, I thought the sled itself was super comfy as it was a raised seat - the previous times I have been sledding my bottom was at ground level, which made it very cold and uncomfortable. Getting to meet the dogs and the puppies at the end of the 1.5 hours was also so lovely - they were so cuddly. Our driver on the way back to our hotel was a great guide too. Very helpful that this company offered the option of transfers to/from the hotel, as many others did not. Such a worthwhile experience!

Wooden tower that offers awesome vistas over the countryside. There are rolling fields and forests below, with the river all around and mountains in the distance. You’ve got to climb MANY flights of stairs to get to the top, but fortunately if you get tired, there are many intermediate decks along the way where you can stop and look out from a lower elevation. Great place to stop along your drive around the island!

Really nice walk to enjoy some ice cream. The promenade has parking places and there are trash cans located along the walk to help keeping it clean. Access the water or just to walk on the sidewalk! Views of the Chute de Montmorency and also Quebec's city castle from the walk. Really nice and quiet place.
