The Paramount is a fabulous theater - beautiful decor, comfortable seats and top notch productions. We recently saw “The Secret of My Success.” The acting, dancing and singing, as well as the set, were all first-rate. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Come early and grab a bite to eat (tasty hot dogs, cookies, etc.) and drink. They have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which you can take to your seat.

If you have younger children take them to the Blackberry Farm where they can ride ponies, a carousel, paddle boats & even a fun little train. It is a very inexpensive experience. Walk down a recreated downtown area of old Aurora. Children and adults will enjoy looking into windows to see an old-fashioned drug store, barber shop, general store & many others. There's a food stand & picnic area. When we were there we visited a blacksmith where we watched a nail being made & learned a great deal of what happened in an old style blacksmith shop. The kids really enjoyed the play area where they could even experience a zip line. There's a farm where you can see pigs, chickens, goats, etc. You can go inside a large building where they have many old vehicles on display. Just a good, inexpensive, fun time can be had by kids & adults alike. We even had friends who rented out the entire farm for their wedding reception. I

If you are looking for an old fashion skating rink then this is the place to go. I have brought the grand kids here several times and they had a great time. Yes I can still skate at my age I won't tell you how old lets just say I served in the Navy during Vietnam, so you can do the math. they have skate rental, and a snack is open, it I still do ice skating, but I need a place that has open skating, if someone knows a place please let me know. Just be careful when you go skating, I wore knee pads and arm bands just in case I take a spill. So don't be afraid give it a try I think you will like this skating rink. HAVE FUN AND BE CAREFUL or you can go just to watch the kids skate

Chicago Premium Outlets is more than just a great collection of the finest designer labels and brands, it's Chicagoland's newest shopping destination. Include a shopping stop during your next trip to Chicago. Take the Pace bus or a taxi shuttle to the center. Commissionable transportation is available via Chicago Trolley, Gray Line of Chicago and Windy City Limousine.
Great buys at all my favorite stores. This is an outdoor mall with plenty of shaded areas to keep you out of the sun, rain and snow, there is a pond that they freeze over in the winter for ice skating and nice outdoor heaters for the winter.
