Voted “best comedy club” by D Magazine and Dallas Observer, Backdoor Comedy is the city’s longest running stand-up comedy club, and after 20 years, still reigns as the hot spot for comedy in North Texas. Shows feature eight or more comedians per night including national touring comics from Comedy Central, Showtime and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and the best of the local pros. By having a variety of comics on each show, The Backdoor gives audiences the opportunity to see a diverse group of performers, each bringing their own unique style of comedy to every show. The coziness of the Backdoor takes you back to the roots of stand-up and gives you the intimate atmosphere of the original comedy rooms in NYC and LA. Catch stand-up comedy “how it was meant to be seen” at what the Dallas Observer calls “the hottest comedy showcase room in the Southwest.” The Backdoor has become the "go to" spot for birthdays and other special occasions. Each person celebrating gets their own personel shout-out during the show. And travelers enjoy the convenience that the club is located inside a Doubletree by Hilton hotel. Reservations are recommended.
Had a great time! Back Door is adjacent to a Pub and Grill, great place for pre and post show! Invite your friends and make reservations.

I have attended many performances there ,have taken my children, and now my grandchildren over the years ..and have never been disappointed . Good children program, with pre - show activities.. Easy access ,easy parking ( paying) ..restaurant on premises .. Needs to have more restaurants around .. Being from overseas,I am a bit disappointed, that no venues offer discounted prices for senior citizens or youth under 16 ....as many countries do Overall it is a very good addition to the area

Small neighborhood brewery making great English Ales and more. We have a nice cozy Taproom with live music and food trucks. $4.00 pints 5-7 on Fridays $5.00 till 9pm $15.00 on Saturdays gets you logo English pint glass and three pints of our great beer.
I have been wanting to check this place out for a few months but just haven't found the time. Finally did last night and was happily surprised. Since it was a Friday night they had a live band and food truck out back. Ample parking next to the DART rail line and 20 or so picnic tables outside to keep you Covid safe! The beer selection is fantastic. I tried a flight of 4 different styles and they were all spot on. I was amazed at the quality and flavor in each. The owner is very passionate about the beer and takes the time to educate you one each pour. If you love beer or just a good time give this place a shot.

DFW's only full size retro arcade! 70+ retro games, 50+ craft beers, and delicious food!
Finally made it to this place after reading about it and friends telling me about it. As I am an 80's kid and 90's teen this was a way awesome throwback to the days of losing all my quarters to the arcade. Huge selection of craft beers at great prices, a fantastic selection of vintage video games from the 70's, 80's, and 90's, and an unbeatable atmosphere. I wish they had more pinball machines, but I get that these machines are expensive to get and maintain. As such, there was always a line to play the silver ball. Still, well worth the trip and I will be back!!

Recently visited for a Clue movie party. Alamo always does a get job of making any movie experience fun from the minute you seat in your seat whether it's the off the wall videos they play before the movie starts or the fun props they provide during a movie party, you are bound to enjoy yourself when you're at Alamo.

The Richardson Library is the ONLY library in the city of Richardson which makes it a great place to go. They have a huge selection of items to check out: movies, audio books, books. They also offer many programs for the community. The children's department is so much fun. It's colorful and interactive. A fun place for photo ops also.
