historic 380 seat gorgeous live performing arts venue in-the-round, downtown Glendale, CA where NO seat is more than 9 rows from the stage. This is a fourth-generation family owned and operated theatre where amazing musicals and comedies are performed 52 weeks a year! Parking is only $1 for four hours with validation, many restaurants surround the theatre including Damon's Steak house, Tep Thai, Panini Grill and Panera! Or, Rick Caruso's Americana at Brand is just two blocks away where you can enjoy The Cheesecake Factory!
Went once again to an amazing performance of BRIGHT STAR (from Steve Martin) - full of singing, dancing and bluegrass music. The cast of professionals brought a tear to my eyes with the poignant story of a lost baby found. This theater is a gem, founded and run by a local family it is the oldest continuously operating private theater group in the nation. You can see a ton of 99 seat theater performances on the west side of LA but this place is a story in itself.

We attended the Los Angeles Ballet performance of the Nutcracker and it was a perfect holiday event. The theater itself is easy to get to, with parking at the Glendale mall across the street. It is in a lovely art deco style building. The inside space is fairly large but sight lines are good and we were able to see everything quite well from the 20th row. The ballet itself was also quite good and the costumes were amazing. If all of their productions are like this there will be many more ballets in our future.

A great place to stroll, shop, eat and shmooze! Recently remodeled, it is bright and airy. Easily accessible by freeways and local transit. Glendale Beeline stops in front. Across the street from the high-end Americana complex, a perfect pair, a perfect day trip!

It’s hyper-reality. It’s technical achievement. But mainly, it’s fun! THE VOID is a whole-body, fully immersive VR experience, full of surprises at every turn; with you, your family and friends inside the action. One second you’re standing on solid ground, the next you’re stepping deep into darkness, looking at unimaginable beauty – or fending off danger from another realm. Did you see it? Did you feel it? What’s next? You’ll just have to experience it to understand.
We went in to the void expecting to have the experience of a life time, and even those high expectations were blown away! The crew was so excited for us; they gave us all the tools we needed to have an awesome mission! As soon as we put that visor down and stepped in to the world of Star Wars we were fully immersed through more senses than we could count! This technology was mind blowing. We all had so much fun, and as soon as we finished we were making reservations to come back again. Highly recommend for families, teens, and adults! This was the highlight of the year for us!

Jewel City Bowl is a family entertainment center in the heart of Glendale. We have bowling, billiards, an arcade, a restaurant with delicious food, and a FULL bar with tasty specialty drinks. We specialize in children's birthday parties, adult birthday parties, corporate events, fundraisers, holiday parties, school events and we have bowling leagues 7 days a week.
I am a avid bowler and this is my go to bowling alley because of the fact that not only it is cheaper than other alleys but also the fact that their hours of operation is always the same from 11AM. The alley is in great shape and it is easy to stop in and go for 2-3 games. The only issue is parking but there is a parking lot near by.

If you are a fan of neon, this is the place. The saved neon from stores, gas stations, car dealers and other locations are bright and illuminated for your pleasure. It is a step back into the early days--now most signs are plastic with bulbs behind them--nothing can compare with the beauty and craftsmanship of authentic neon. It's a great place to visit!
