Four of us stopped in this remote place for morning tea. Surprising modern place with interesting artworks inside and out. They were busy so it took a few minutes before we got our coffee, tea and cakes, but the food we had was excellent.

Get Shucked Oyster Bar

Reviewed By dbfun41 - Elizabeth Town, Australia

This was a 30 minute highlight of our Bruny Island holiday. My partner is an oyster fiend and she was thoroughly delighted with the oysters we had. She said that they were the best we have had in a year. At 23$ a dozen with 3 accompanying sauces they are excellent value for super delicious and fresh oysters. (20$ a dozen take away) . The oyster bar is about 10 mins from the ferry terminal and is one of the first of the go to places on the island. Only a small area to dine in on wooden outside tables. In brief excellent oysters at a very good price point.

Bruny Island Chocolate Company

Reviewed By justinharris5829 - Tasmania, Australia

A small and boutique chocolatier and whiskey distillery on the drive to Adventure Bay. Beautifully handcrafted chocolates, fudges and truffles, witty and well thought out gifts and amazing Hound's Tooth Whiskey. The views are spectacular and worth a stop themselves, looking out across the Neck to Cape Queen Elizabeth and The Hound's Tooth. The staff are genuinely friendly and obviously love the products they sell
