Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

This is a very small museum that showcases everything from the Curie family. The office and laboratory were a treat just to view. Apparently the door handle is still radioactive! As a biochemist (not physicist!) I loved every aspect of this museum.

Strolled with my husband through this HUGE, beautiful museum. A wonderful mix of old and new exhibits and (as with the case with all things PARIS) is a feast for the eyes. Plan to spend some time here as you will enjoy getting lost!

This museum houses a selection of exhibits and artifacts representing the Arab world of today and of centuries past.
This Institute of the Arabic World in Paris never disappoint with the exhibitions they organize. The place is very pleasant and easily to get there, in the Rive Gauche. At this time, July 2018, they are showing an exhibition that describe all the projects, negotiations, construction and politics involved in the Suez Canal, which had a 4000 years history if considering that the first one was done at the time of the Pharaohs. The main focus however is in the project of Lesseps with was the one who had the concession from Egypt to built the Canal in modern days. The inauguration was in 1869 and the exhibition shows also the scenario of the 1956 when the Suez Canal was nationalised. It is a very nice exhibition with documents, films, maquette, paintings and objects, giving an interesting view of the Canal and its history, showing also the well organised way the Institute shows its exhibitions.

This large museum of natural history combines three museums into one, including a four-story taxonomy wing, a building of skeletons and fossils and a separate structure devoted entirely to geology.
Really enjoyed our trip here, kept a 6 year old entertained too. First floor has skeletons as well as body parts from a range of species from Rhinos to Dolphins to Monkeys. My daughter was fascinated with this and a great opportunity to discuss evolution and natural sciences Second floor is ice age/dinosaur era species such as the Allosaurus and Mammoths. Again, really interesting displays with plenty to see despite the labels being in french (my high school french and google translate app helped a bit here) Easily 1-2 hours and although we only visited here, you can apparently buy a ticket which allows entrance to this and several others around the Garden Great location too, easily accessible from a few metro lines
