Booked 2 rooms: 1 room for 3 people and 1 for 4 people. The room for 3 people have 1 double queen size bed and the room for 4 has 2 queen size beds. The difference in pricing is RM10 which is quite reasonable. Reception Very friendly. Check in was quick. Very very helpful. The room above ground floor are accessible by stairs only no elevators but the hotel has only three floors How is the room? The room is clean and the bathroom has full containers of shampoo and liquid soap. The towel allocation is a bit weird though. The 3 person room has 2 towels and the 4 person room has 2 towels. Are they expecting the guests to share towels? What else? Air conditioning unit works but at maximum cool it feels like a cool fan. The hot water shower works. The TV has only a few English Channels. No closet. Small table for you to work on. Lighting in the room is good. The family room ... four persons... has no windows. Don't expect free bottles of water. You can buy water, ice cream and some light food at the reception. No restaurant in this hotel or nearby...you need to drive out or take a taxi or grab or uber. Is it worth the price? Yes. You get what you paid for. No frills. It is good if you want a room to sleep in while you do all your activities outdoors except if you want to lock yourselves up doing in room activities all day and night. Why three stars ? Because the room has nothing except a bed and bath but it is very clean.

More to enjoy the nature and local cultural in fishing village in Pangkor Island. Ecotourism and eco-design implemented in our business nature.
Took my two kids to experience life in a fishing village and we werent disappointed..the homestay was v clean and i was impressed that the room even had a hairdryer..although food isnt serve at the homestay they do have snacks (maggie in the cup etc) and drinks for sale.i would suggest that you bring your own towels as their towels are quite thin. the owners were v friendly and helpful..we spend our morning exploring the nearby boat, satay and anchovy factory on foot ( less than 10 min walk) and then rented fishing rods to fish at the homestay itself for the rest of the day..the kids also got to feed a family of hornbills that visit twice a day as well as the homestay's pet fishes..we rented a car for rm70 a day (at the jetty when we arrived) to drive out for seafood and to see the sunset at beach on the other side of the island. Def planning a return trip in the nearby future

Strangest hotel ever , my daughter and myself arrived , the taxi driver as we pulled up said , strange no security, told us wait in car he would see if it was open , on his return he says yes ladies but here’s my number if u need me , first instinct on going into reception was the man behind the counter had no uniform on and was dressed scruffy and no name badge, my daughter said to him , it’s very quiet around here to which he replied yes yes , not only was it quiet it was deserted , in slight shock I looked at my daughter as he gave us our keys , she asked if we were the only ones there to which he says yes yes just u two ? we went to our room both knowing this wasn’t right , a massive hotel 5* with no one in it , no cleaners , no bars open , no restaurants, no anything, just us 2 lol quick turn around back to reception, demanded my money back and a very quick exit ... The shining springs to mind lol
