March 30, 2022 Viva Honore

New York’s Finger Lakes region takes its name from 11 freshwater lakes placed like a handprint between Lake Ontario and the Pennsylvania border. Skiing, hiking and biking trails traverse the landscape; visitors can also indulge in various wine, cheese and beer trails. The area offers a culinary bounty, with an emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine. Rich history and culture are found throughout the region, with one attraction more inviting than the next.

We took my 8 year old son for his birthday here along with my 11 year old daughter. This place is quiet, clean, and all the staff are very nice as well as helpful. We loved our room that had a full kitchen and a balcony. We had so much fun snow tubing and on the roller coaster. We went on the roller coaster 8 times! It was really cool going down at night! I have to give a lot of credit to the staff at the snow tubing mountain. For the first hour and a half my son was scared to go down and the staff was so patient and understanding with him. Eventually we all got him to go down and it's because the staff went out of there way to calm and alleviate his fears. This was our first time at Greek Peak. We will definitely return.

Skiing here this year has been great even with the lack of snow. The Last Run Restaurant is what I’m reviewing is a gem. The scallops and the Burger we had we’re delicious. The burger was a buffalo sauce burger topped with blue cheese Absolutely delicious. The fries were also good. Wife had the scallops that were to die for. Great spot for lunch or dinner after skiing or not skiing.

I have been going to Song for over 40 years. Trails are always taken care of with good variety for a small Central NY area with 23 trails. Nice cruising trails for beginners and intermediates and enough Black Diamond to satisfy with Jupiter being the best Black Diamond in CNY. Maybe it's even a Double Black. Rarely a wait in lift lines. Several Level 1 and 2 PSIA Instructors offer excellent training for skiers of all abilities. Ski Patrol is very skilled and always available. The lodge is clean and spacious with the Restaurant offering the best French Fries I've had, yes and other good food. Bath rooms are clean. Rental very good. The owner tries to keep Song open longer than any other Facility in the area. Can't wait till the next season.
