With the lockdown lifted, Spencer DFO has returned to life. Until recently it was very dreary, with hardly any shops open, now its come back to life. Almost every shop is open, and the prices are competitive. You can buy anything from chocolates to Ugg boots. The Spencer DFO is a large shopping centre, it's worth doing some window shopping with the festive season around the corner.

We took the circle line free tram from the centre of town out to the shopping mall which is situated close to the waterfront of the Yarra River. The mall has no roof and is continually deserted during the week as we visited 3 times. The Melbourne star forms part of the complex as do several eateries and a children's play area It is a short walk across the road to the marina waterfront. Smoking in the street is a continual problem in Melbourne for non smokers. Wherever you go smokers are trying to poison you with nicotine and you are only safe if you are in a building. So keep shopping!!!!
