Sit back, relax and enjoy Dorset's spectacular scenery and wildlife on our 'Park Farm ATV Safari', venturing into 52 acres of beautiful countryside. Your guide will share some fascinating local history and a few quirky Dorset tales along the way. Refreshments, including homemade baked goods, are offered on every safari. Our aim is to leave you with unforgettable memories and an experience to talk about.
We did the Park Farm ATV safari as a family in August and it was great. We were a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children (6,9 and 11). Gary was a perfect host and made us all feel very welcome and comfortable and involved everyone in the conversation on the way round the tour. His knowledge of the local area and the farmland was brilliant and he definitely made you think about the wonderful wildlife we have in this country. The kids loved it as well. We would like to come back and do one of the Landdrover trips when all in the world is back to normal and we are allowed again. Well done, great experience!

The Plym Valley Railway has re-built a one and a half mile section of the ex-Great Western branch line from Marsh Mills to Plym Bridge. The line used to run from Tavistock Junction, just outside of Plymouth, to Launceston. It is a heritage railway centre where we are preserving steam and diesel locomotives, carriages, wagons, and other historic railway artifacts to recreate the atmosphere of a bygone age.We operate passenger trains on selected days over a section of the line from our station at Marsh Mills to Plym Bridge Platform.New and enthusiastic volunteers are needed in all departments, including Motive Power, Permanent Way, Carriage and Wagon, Building and Works, fund raising and retail outlets.
Trains run on Sunday, with steam or diesel loco on a one and half mile trip into the woodland to a lovely spot called Plymbridge Plymouth, on the end of the cycle trail to Dartmoor. Bike hire adjacent to Marsh Mills station. Great place for kids and adults alike.

Have wanted to walk to Agglestone Rock for some time. Finally in September 2020 we did the circular walk from Studland to Agglestone & back. Parked in a nearby lay-by . But there are plenty of other places to start your walk from. A great walk, not too taxing & plenty to see. The rock itself is huge & quite bizarre. Its like its been dropped from space. Beautiful views.

We decided to go for a healthy walk on the Strawberry Line which is located on an ancient railway track. It is of course very flat all the way along although there were a few puddles to splash through. Some cyclists and other walkers, a few with well-behaved dogs, passed us either way occasionally but really not many at all. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It's good to get out and about during the lockdown and this is the place to do it!

We have three young daughters and this beach was just perfect for them. Not packed so you had plenty room on the beach to set up a nice spot. The water was lovely and clear, the girls were in with their body boards and they are only aged 3, 5 and 6! Little sun trap and you could see the Navy ships passing by too. Little shop at the top of the cliffs which sold most things and a cafe there also. Have to pay for parking but only a couple of pounds.
