Baguio, perched high in the Cordillera Central Mountains, is a great place to escape the heat of the Philippine lowlands. Camp John Hay, originally built as a recreation area for U.S. soldiers, now is a full-fledged resort complete with a world-class golf course. Definitely stop at the city market, where you can buy almost anything (just be prepared to haggle).

We came in at 11:30am right in time for the mid prayers of the Pink Sisters. The entire congregation was in the chapel singging like angels. Always a highly spiritual experience.

Of the many churches that Baguio is known for, Pink Sister's Convent and Chapel is well-known and adored as it has been a witness to any answered prayers in any form - personal supplication, professional promotion, examinations, health and wellness wishes, and even relationships. An hour mass at the said church will surely make you feel spiritually full. The solemnity of the mass which is accentuated by the penchant of the sisters in chorus creates a very heavenly atmosphere that sets the tone by which deep personal prayers are uttered and sent.

The Shrine of the Brown Madonna was found by the Padilla's of Baguio. The place is open to the public, free of charge. Mass is held here once in a while, hosted also by the founder, Narciso Padilla, a known Baguio journalist. The shrine features a 6-7foot tall Brown Madonna at the Cave's altar. Also the scenery is a good place for a picnic.
Me and my family always go here to visit and have some time for ourselves to meditate on what the Lord whats to say to us . Say a prayer in the chapel, light a candle or place a prayer request in the envelopes provided, if you are a believer then its a must.

Within its compound are intricately designed arches and buildings adorned with flags, bells and dragons. It has a pagoda, and landscaped gardens. There are some Buddhist artifacts to be found there, as well as some literature about the history of China.

Good Shepherd is a religious convent in Baguio and they’re well known for great pasalubongs, goodies, or sweet treats like Ube jam, Peanut Brittle, Lengua De Gato, and Strawberry Jam. People normally go here to buy in wholesale so you better be early to avoid the long queue. Tip: There are stores outside Good Shepherd that sells fresh strawberries and other goodies, you might want to check them out too!

After visiting Glenn 50's Diner, Laperal White House, Mines View, been to SM Baguio to buy some new clothes and check out what's on sale, we then headed to the famous church in Baguio, the Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral beside Session road. We were supposed to head to this church upon arrival to Baguio City to give thanks for our safe trip way up to the city, but unfortunately, we came in too early too late for the church mass. And unfortunately again, when we got to the church, there's no scheduled mass in the afternoon. I really loved this church from the first time we visited this church a long time ago, back when my status is still "In a Relationship" and not "Married". I have this dream that someday when we decided to renew our vows and finally decided to have a church wedding ceremony, we will be blessed in this church. Oh, what a dream. The church is located in Upper Session Baguio City, the church architecture is very romantic and vintage, not your typical kind of church, that's why most women dream of having their wedding done here. Apart from being a heritage site, the distinctive pink facade is very feminine, hihihi, so girly. And how about the aisle? Oh, the aisle is very ideal for women who want their wedding to be very dramatic and considering their long aisle who most girls consider on their wedding day.
