Take a spiritual tour to Puri, land of the Jagannath Temple and allow the ocean to soothe your mind. Watch the Bhargavi river merge into the sea at Sterling Puri, beach is accessible with 200 meters . A spiritual cum recreational trip? Hmmm...sounds interesting.
Although this property is far from the city but overall it has a great ambiance. Rooms are average but room service is great. Downside the breakfast is below standard, even the staff in the restaurant is not very friendly. Front office staff is good and friendly.

Toshali group ( Ms. Sandhya) managed our family trip to Puri, Orissa very well. She accommodated our special request and provided with good stay options. The driver service needs to improved little as he was local and didn't understand either Hindi or English langugage due to which communication was challenging. Driver also started showing some rude behavior towards the end of our trip but Ms. Sandhya helped us by speaking to the driver. Overall it was a great organization by the Toshali group and their employee (Ms. Sandhya). Definitely recommend the tour service. Thank you!

I am sitansu kar . I have visited the property on 15th May 2022 with my family for lunch in restaurant. I have received hurrible service from there. 1- There was no welcome drinks /papad. I asked for 13 mocktails( any flavours), the concern person told me there is no mocktails . We can serve only soft drinks . After some time he came and told me juice can be served. Then I have ordered 3 water milon juice which is served after 30 minutes .Thank you Gadadhar ( captain ) for arranging 10 mocktails for my family. 2 - Service was too late, there was no response from F&B team . 3- Food taste was worst . All the items are so sweet . Mainly all the non veg items are too sweet. 4- We had received better service in Empire hotel paradeep . But this time everything is worst in here . Experience was so bad . The excuses are due to the less staff issues . 5- Finally we are spending money for our family, if they are not happy with the service then automatically it is worst of money to prefer star hotel . Definitely i will not prefer Empire hotel Puri in future .

This place doesn't qualify to be called as a Resort. 1st of all their website doesn't mention the extra charge that they levy for transport and mandatory sightseeing. This, you'll come to know once you've booked rooms with them and they'll send you an sms informing about the additional cost. Since we arrived during an off season we were charged Rs. 3000 for the following 3 things: 1. The pickup from Satpada to the island. - Rs. 1000 2. The drop from the island to Satpada. - Rs 1000 3. And Rs. 1000 for sight seeing, dolphin watching and Rajhans, which you cannot opt out off. The worst part of the sight seeing is that they take you to the resort from Satpada via the dolphin sighting route and charge you for it. The second thing about the sight seeing is that Rajhans is just accross the lake where you can see it and it take max 10 mins in boat. So we were charged Rs 1000 for these. The peak season price is supposed to be Rs. 2500 for each of the items mentioned above. So, plan your trip accordingly. We booked 2 standard AC rooms for 1 night but we checked out the same day itself. When we checked in (around 12pm) we were told that they've upgraded us to delux AC rooms. The rooms were tiny and in bad shape and it's really depressing once you enter them. So I was wondering in what state the standard rooms would be in. The toilet in one of the rooms wasn't working and there was a hornets nest in the washroom of the 2nd room. Toilets weren't clean either. When we called them to confirm if there's a swimming pool in the resort they confirmed that they have one. They never mentioned that it's not in usable condition. When we entered after checkin I asked them about the pool and they pointed to something which looked like a natural pond (not made with the regular blue tiles) which hadn't been used since ages. Our plan revolved entirely around the swimming pool as there utterly nothing else to do in that place. This place is only suitable for people who are planning to just sleep for the night and not spend quality time at the resort. The only reason for me to give them even a single star is because it's mandatory, the staff seemed hospitable and the food was good (not great).

Hotel Balaji International Puri is a luxury premium boutique hotel that offers all sea-facing rooms along with swimming pool and spa service. The restaurant serves the best vegetarian food in the town. We also provide Banquet hall, Marriage Hall and Conferences Hall.
We stayed in this hotel from 7th April to 11th April 2022 with 4 adults & 2 kids, we took 2 sea facing rooms. I am very much concerned about the safety near the window of 3rd floor. I am concerned because I have kids & you should too. The railing near the window has a 2 feet X 2 feet gap of Room no 318. There is no balcony beyond window and a small negligence may cause free fall from 3rd floor to ground directly. This could lead to any fatal accidents. Hotel management doesn't take any action even after repeatedly reminder given to house keeping, front desk, even their maintenance supervisor. Hence, requesting the hotel top management & local authority to take this complain very seriously and take an immediate action to fix it. Attaching some pictures for my concern.

Had recently stayed here for one night on 3rd April’22 with my family and thats probably the worst night we ever had. Flown from Hyderabad, after a day long outing at Bhubaneswar, we reached late evening, around 6 PM only to find out that contrary to its name, it’s not a beach or sea facing resort, rather near beach on some inner lanes. Further they had a quite unconventional checkout time of 8AM. Anyways after checkin we headed for Beach which is a 5 mins walk. After dinner, when we can back around 9PM the irony started. Chronology of our next 4 hours plight: 1. AC in one of the rooms wasn’t working 2. Frequent power cuts (every 5/ 10 mins) without any generator backup. We were told there is load shedding in the area but that was a pure lie. We could see all other properties in the vicinity like Hotel Empire etc. had power and only Hotel Blue lily had no power / backup. 3. Most of alternate room provided had one or other issue- bad pungent smell, poor maintenance, AC not working etc. 4. Finally after lot of escalations, 4 hours latter (around 1PM) we were provided with an decent alternate room to sleep for few hours. The property Manager promised to refund partially for the inconvenience caused but after a few follow-up that hasn’t happened, so again clearly again, false promises or cheap tactics to avoid the situation then. Also note, what I understood from staff, the property was shut down for long and has recently opened under a new management. However there hasn’t been any renovation or maintenance, so most of the property is in a very depleted & poor condition with pathetic management. The property is poles away from what you see on internet (old photos). The only good thing is peaceful location. It’s the last property on Puri beach, so very less crowded. Quite understandably that also means there ain’t any restaurants, good transportation or other required facilities in near vicinity. I think it was better we spend the night under the sky on beach than paying Rs. 3,500 as per room rent. Clearly the property isn’t with more that any 1 star Rs.500 hotel / Inn. PS: Hadn’t taken any photo or video of property as despite our plight, the intention was never to hurt someone who’s getting back into business. But false and unfulfilled promises made me to write this so people can take an informed decision.
