Centennial Botanical Conservatory

I frequent the conservatory on a fairly regular basis and I leave happy, peaceful and relaxed every time. I love going during the different seasons especially winter as Thunder Bay is well known for them (burrrr!). I go with friends or by myself, I've had picnics there and have made some wonderful memories. I'm always excited to go back!

Cascades Conservation Area

Reviewed By FirstCircle - Thunder Bay, Canada

Nature abounds in Thunder Bay, and there is never far to go to get to a decent place for a walk. Following along parts of the Current River, Cascades is a pleasant place where one is likely to run into groups of locals at any time of year. Beautiful waterfalls are not so hard to get to, and the walks through the forest are varied and relaxing.

We go over to Mission island once in awhile to view the deer, the birds and walk along the paths on a quiet eve. A real gem in the middle of this city. We often take visitors to this site and they really enjoy it as well.
