These unique rock formations are a popular destination for hikers and climbers.
This area has appeared in many films an TV series, and when you see the view you can understand why. The area is easily reached, there’s a pay car park and a short walk to reach a viewpoint with stunning views (weather permitting) You can walk further if you’ve got the kit for walking in the Scottish Highlands.

We hadn’t planned on stopping here but so glad we did! There was a lay-by with free parking and we had walked up the top but the best view is from the platform which is quite new. We stopped here between climbing the old man of storr and kilt rock, it was lovely and better than mealt falls.

First time in several years on this great path - avoided my son's soft-play session. Can start from various points (Cuillin Hills Hotel, Achachork and Portree town centre) and enjoy it at your leisure. Wet winter has made some parts very muddy. Best part for me is the climb up to the top. Great views and photo opportunities throughout. Per previous reviews, better signposting would be great.

Here at the harbour, you can get a great view of the colorful buildings along the wharf - makes for great photos at any time. Stroll along the beach and look for sea glass and broken pottery - a touch of history when you pick it up.
