I believe that the heroism of Zriny Miklos was extraordinary...and to have this park is a good way to continue to honor his memory and to recognize that the Suleiman the Great was also important part of the history of Szigetvar. The purpose of the park is to have now all the animosity behind and to have a friendship among the Turks and Hungarians. The park is on the side of a highway that leads to Siklos outside of Szigetvar. There is great parking space. The park is ample with many wooden frames with large colored drawings and historical information to read located in a semi-circular way opposite of the main monuments. I must comment on how perfectly well tiled the area is. With stone tiles of various colors placed very symmetrically. I love that detail in Hungarian open public spaces. The workmanship is tops! What stands out of course are the heads side by side of both Zriny Miklos and Suleiman the Great. It is true that Zriny Miklos was of Croatian origin, it is also true that at that time that region was part of one much larger Hungary, so this belongs to the History of Hungary. There is no charge to visit the park No need for a guide

A new zoo / sanctuary in Hungary who gives to place to small mammals, birds, reptiles and fishes. During the visit is is possible to come in close contact with some of the animals.
