Once in Texel it should be definitely in agenda as a typical activity of this island. Very nice atmosphere close to the nature, good choice of cheeses and an interesting and informative introduction into the process of cheese production. This can be directly observed through the glass windows. One can also watch the video narrating of all the details. In the shop it’s possible to try various sorts of cheese produced at the farm, and some cosmetic products.

By visiting Museum Galerie RAT(Recomposed Art Texel) you step into another world. There is a continuous exhibition of work by Maria Roelofsen. She sees beauty in washed up materials she found on the beaches of Texel. You can also take a dip in the various drawings of geometric patterns designed by Goossen Karssenberg. He is an expert in this Islamic design tradition.
