Reviewed By Alan1BangorWe stayed here in 2015 and it was very good, so we went back again this month. Prices were €95 for a double room with breakfast. Rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was a delight with fresh fruit, cereals, different meats and cheeses. It is situated just 7 miles south of Bernkastle - Keus on the Mosel. The only negative was that it is situated opposite a restaurant where on the night we stayed, 2 loud German men kept us awake well after midnight when they had a loud conversation / argument.

I basically cannot believe this hotel only has 3 stars, considering all services they offer: from the helpful and proactive pre arrival communication to any requests during our stay - we were being assisted very diligently. Service matched a 5 star hotel Concierge service! Being family owned is, in my opinion, the hotel's strength. The owners operate the hotel from the Front Desk and restaurant/bar, which makes it feel very personal and home away from home. Restaurant was great: good food, great wines, good service. Rooms were just as good: very comfy beds, amazing shower pressure, and a balcony with beautiful views. I've already recommended Weinhaus Simon to friends who are looking to travel to the Mosel region and I'll definitely come back myself! Such a treat!

Reviewed By Carmen CWe had a room in the house across the hotel... the room and bathroom were very clean and had all basics that you need. Interior is very 80’ties. But it had it’s charm... We had breakfast and dinner 2 times and the food was always good. In the village there is nothing to do in the evening so make sure you prepare yourself for that. Trier is not that far and well worth visiting. Overall good hotel if you appreciate basic and clean.

Goed slapen in ruim appartement in rustig dorp.
Reviewed By josienk816Mooi ruim appartement. Ontzettend schoon en helemaal volledig uitgerust in de keuken. Voorzien van wifi en alle gemakken. Het bed slaapt goed, ook nog na 5 nachten. Wolfgang (uitbater) houdt van een praatje, maar geeft je ook de rust en ruimte die we graag willen. Hij is behulpzaam en regelt wijnproeverijen voor je. Echt een aanrader als je houdt van een rustige omgeving, van alle gemakken voorzien en toch dicht bij vermaak en de moezel.

Reviewed By Carlijnvdk85Nette appartementen, wel wat gedateerd (typisch Duitse inrichting) en bedden zijn niet super. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad is zeer netjes bijgehouden. In de omgeving veel te zien en bezoeken. Eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk, spreken gebrekkig Engels.

Clean and friendly with safe parking but dated inside and village very quite compared to other river villages.
Reviewed By ptrabantFor - very clean and freindly hosts with safe parking outside Room also had black out shutters Bedroom also used as an appartment and had a noisy old fridge so not greatfor sleep. Room very dated and in need of modernisation. I have had some increadable breakfast spreads in Germany however the breakfast was ok but limted - eg no rolls, etc. We needed a small put up bed for our child and the room had a bed sette but charged for a full extra bed so was not great value for us. The village was also very very quite so nowhere to eat without driving to another village , if we stop here again would pick a different village.
