Stayed here this past weekend and had a great time. This is a smaller hotel, but good service and very clean, comfortable rooms. Very close to the main shopping area and veery near the water. We were able to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go. Parking is included as well (for one vehicle). We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend.

Front desk people, all 4 or 5 of them were warm, patient, kind and very helpful. We had a slightly loud bathroom fan and the service to fix it was faster than in any hotel we've ever been in. Chris the repair man was fast and effective! We were spontaneously visiting and didn't realize it was Rhodedendron Week so everywhere was booked but they were able to squeeze us in! They've been full every night and they still let us use the extra lobby space for visiting with our local friend even late in the evening. The cleaning team was attentive and responsive too. We look forward to coming back every year!

Many rooms(40rooms) boast private decks overlooking sparkling Port Townsend Bay, and the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges. Protective windbreaks make year–round enjoyment eventful as the parade of ferries, fishing vessels and sailboats pass by. Take a deep breath of clean, fresh air as you revel in the sights and sounds of nature's seascape. Listen to the surf as it gently lulls you to sleep.
This was our first stay, looking for a mid-week 1 night getaway in Port Townsend. Front desk staff (Gerry & Geoffrey)sp? were friendly professional & informative. Our spacious top floor room (bridal suite?) exceeded expectations. Appreciated the uncluttered decor. We watched maritime traffic, an otter & an eel from the bay window sitting area plus 6 deer from the balcony. Enjoyed the walk-in shower for 2 & the ample counter space in the bathroom. Know that the climate control thermostat is by the propane fireplace. Though tempting, we did not use the spa tub. There were guests below and next to us, but did not hear them. It felt like we were the only ones there. The fridge hummed a bit & the A/C unit was quiet. Planning a return visit when the breakfast area reopens, which could double as a reception or meeting area. We split a 4 piece fish & chips order ($20) at the Bayview Restaurant which is within our walking distance. Know that many shops open at 11 during the week, which coincides with check-out time. The owner speaks Korean. IDK if he's available 24/7. We plan to follow the restoration of the original iconic Tides Inn sign still standing after 50(?) years.

Port Townsend Inn offers an indoor swimming pool and hot tub (the only one in Port Townsend!), free Wi-Fi, free Continental Breakfast, free parking, and wonderful views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. All rooms come fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, cable TV and telephone (free local calls!)
Budget hotel at premium hotel prices. We had to stay here as we were passing through last minute and it was all that was available. Rooms were okay clean, but not great. Old hotel with dirty carpet and dim lighting. No plugs anywhere. Beds aren’t awful but aren’t that great. Shower floor creaked and pipes had an annoying whistling sound when you used water, but at least it was hot. Questionable people in some of the small rooms hanging outside smoking. Wouldn’t recommend it for what they charge.

We stayed a week in one of the larger timeshare units via RCI exchange. The setting is quite nice with woods around though I was disappointed to not have a water view. The property has a private beach which is quite nice; we drove there tho I suppose it is walkable. Dogs are allowed. It is part of a large complex with many homes and condos. The unit, while the largest, was an odd design. The main living floor does not have a bathroom. The main living floor has seating for 4 people. The dining table could hold 6 people. The 2 bedrooms are on a lower level and the bathrooms are on the lower level. The upper level is a loft with a fold out bed, of sorts. The loft might be good for children. Linens were adequate. The area was very quiet the week we were there. The kitchen was adequately supplied for cooking. I did cook several evenings. There was a full sized refrigerator, oven, and a coffee maker, toaster , and a microwave. All worked. Paper towels were provided. Check in/out were easy and fast. The unit was very clean. The unit is dated. The access to the area is the reason to stay there. Other reviews I have read are accurate. Masks were required on entrance to the desk/office area.
