We stayed one night only while travelling through Germany. We had a large comfort room with windows on two sides. It was Saturday night and very quiet in the street outside (pedestrian, no cars) The bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was also nice. The internet worked well and breakfast was good. Can be recommended for a visit.

Relax, work or be active in the country - at the new Hotel Freigeist, you can find space for ideas, your muse for inspiration and your desire for golf. Modern interior, transparency and airiness create a unique atmosphere at the Freigeist. Undisturbed by the noise of working life, you can enjoy the stylishly impeccable atmosphere in the country. And the feeling of having arrived. At an oasis of peace and inspiration.
The hotel is located in a quiet area at the edge of a forest - a good sleep is guaranteed. The design of the hotel and rooms is nice. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows which gives a lot of light. Free parking is provided in front of the hotel. So what made this hotel average is the bad WiFi-coverage. Considering that this hotel is for business and seminars, I wonder how this is possible. I am not talking video streaming but basic connection to get emails. If you think that you are covered by providing a hot-spot from your phone, unfortunately you have also very bad coverage there. So enjoy the "radio-silence" The breakfast just covered the basics. Even in times of Covid you can expect more. It was OK but not more than that. In comparison to similar hotels the breakfast was disappointing. Would I come again? No

This hotel in the city center of Northeim is placed in a medieval house. The atmosphere is kind of cottage style with squeaking floor boards. The furniture and carpets are slightly worn out. The rooms come either with a very tiny bathroom cabin for a lower price or with a "normal" bathroom. I found single and double rooms all adequately sized, they also offer 3 bed family rooms. Breakfast is served in an impressive ballroom - the offer is ok for a small hotel. There is no Hotel restaurant or bar. The staff, usually the owner himself, is friendly and helpful. Limited parking is available, make sure you book it. I stayed in this hotel several times; alone and with my family. It is the best price-value offer in and around Northeim.

We stayed here for one night which was enough for us. It was basic looks like it hadn't been updated since the 80s but it was fine for a place to crash. Great location. Although it was advertised as free wifi it was impossible for me to connect my iPhone and my mother could connect with her iPad but she lost connection several times. There was no lift. Breakfast was provided but it wasn't great, just enough to get you going until something better comes along I guess: plums, scrambled eggs, small selection of ham and cheese etc. Staff were polite. I just think £73 for 2 people for one night is a bit steep for what it was but I guess that's just in line with other accommodation in Germany...

Located in the picturesque old town of fNortheim, this hotel has the locally dominant half-timbered construction. The building is quaint, though the river is really just a stream. The rooms are extremely clean and well laid out, and there is cable TV and WIFI. There was an ample North German breakfast of cheese, cold cuts, cereals furit and the best, freshest Broetchen I have ever tasted. The place des, however, have some drawbacks. The hotel does not clean the rooms until you leave; the staff is seldom there, though they were helpful when they were, making phone calls to reserve a hotel at our next destination. And there is ample parking.
