Located on a 30000 acre sheep station just below the spectacular Wilpena Pound. Rawnsley Park Caravan Park offers a unique accommodated or camping experience that will not be forgotten.
We stayed in the campground for 2 nights during our Flinders Ranges honeymoon trip. Everything we could have wanted was within close proximity. Toilets, showers, laundry and camp kitchen. Lovely staff upon book in, a very scenic 4WD tour and an even better Dinner at the Woolshed Restaurant. A place we will most definitely stay again.

This is our fourth time staying at Mount Scott Homestead and we couldn't recommend it more as a place to stay to explore the beautiful Flinders. The camp fire outside is perfect for gathering as a family outdoors at night with the comforts of the homestead to sleep well.

We had a large group (9 cars & 15 people) from our 4wd club stay here for 6 nights, the staff were very accomodating and the laundry & shower facilities were clean and user friendly, the drive on Skytrek was a great way to spend the day with amazing views, the campsite was large enough to fit us all in and with a central fire pit we spent most of the nights cooking and chatting around the warm fire.

Built in the 1880's Meaney’s Rest is one of the oldest residential dwellings in Hawker. The original interior stonework highlighted by LED down lights reflects the majestic colours of the surrounding cliff faces within the local area. The original kitchen has been transformed into a relaxing outdoor room adjoining the barbecue area, with original fireplace and pressed tin ceilings. Even though the building is 1880's vintage, it maintains all modern amenities including an upgraded kitchen, bathroom with spa and modern furnishings. Free wifi, games console (retro Nintendo), Google Home devices and a selection of DVDs can help you while away the time if you so choose. Meaneys rest is central to all facilities including the Geoff Morgan art gallery and it’s famous panorama, local store, garage and local community gym. Spacious and comfortable this house is the perfect getaway to enjoy the magnificent Flinders Ranges. Under new management as of Sep 2017.
There are only good things to say about the accommodation, the hosts and the location. It is spotlessly clean, spacious, extremely comfortable and has all the amenities you could wish for and many more. Great outdoor area as well. Hawker is a great central base from which to explore the Flinders.

We stayed here because of the Trip Advisor reviews and were blown away by how good this place really is. Deb & Steve are fantastic hosts with great advice on places to see. The views from the cabins are fantastic and the night sky is something else. The cabins are clean and roomy with great cooking facilities. When we journey to the Flinders Ranges again this will be our "go to: place

If you love the idea of sleeping in a stunning natural environment, but you're not so keen on "roughing it", Ikara is for you. Our luxe Safari Tents offer all the modern comforts. Complete with luxurious bedding, modern en-suite bathrooms, powered lighting, refrigerator and air conditioning, these tents are anything but roughing it. Each tent has it's own private deck and fire pit perfect for cold winter nights. As well as reverse cycle air conditioning which heats and cools. Perfect for the Australian summer.
Beautiful location… but that is unfortunately all. I love writing great reviews, but I’m at a loss to find anything positive to say about our experience. Tent zipper was broken (so we hope future patrons love mozzies as much as we do. LOL. Advertised as “serviced daily “ yet the only “service staff” we ever saw was when they pulled up the resort vehicle to service the vacated tent next to ours, their car windows and doors open and loud radio broadcasting (so that they can hear it inside the tent perhaps?) So we had to ask them to please turn their blasting radio down? The response was “oh is someone sleeping there?” on which we answered that not only was it none of their business (AS IF we needed a reason to ask them to turn them radio down!), but we actually paid a fair amount of money to actually come here to enjoy the silence! Some of the staff seemingly have no idea that we (paying patrons) are actually the very reason they have a job… and we’re not asking them to do us a nice favour. The services staff did not even change the mugs we used for tea for fresh ones… and bear in mind, there is no facility for us to wash the mugs ourselves! They did not put foot in our tent at all actually. Clearly one cuppa is enough over a few days in this “Spoil yourself” package where staff treat you as a nuisance when you request silence. The tent was clean enough, but the shower could have been cleaner. The food portions at the restaurant are quite large and are tasty enough. Overall: Really a poor experience compared to how it is presented in the advertisements.

A delightful little home away from home in the heart of Hawker. Sleeps up to 4 people in 3 beds (in 2 rooms). Fully equipped kitchen facilities, aircon, heating and high-speed internet with almost every streaming service you could ask for. Undercover carport, BBQ area and much more. A fantastic base from which to explore the wonderful Flinders Ranges
Homely is a lovely little 'home away from home'! It is clean and comfortable with a friendly atmosphere - and friendly owners! They have thought of everything that you could possibly need to have an enjoyable stay. A very relaxing place to call home while you take in all the Flinders Ranges have to offer.
