Value for money hotel
Reviewed By Hard2pleazeWe spent one night in the Hotel Hostal Savoy and when we arrived the prepaid booked room wasn't made up correctly as requested but after 10 mins with Sara in reception we were given an additional room at no extra charge ! I can honestly say Sara went above and beyond in sorting our room issue out and was extremely helpful and polite and is an asset to the hotel. The rooms were clean and value for money (rooms 209 and 304). Room 209 overlooks the police car park but despite other reviews we weren't bothered by any of their noise, however some French guests need to realise they are not the only persons in the hotel at 02:30 am !!! That;'s where the hotel lets itself down as their is no one available to speak to post 11pm until the next morning, so noisy guests, room problems etc have to be left until the next morning, hence me not giving you a 5/5 (excellent) rating. Room 304 aircon was very noisy and the room window didn't lock or close properly. The breakfast is good and served in a well presented dining room and was included in the price. We had to pay 10 Euros a night for an indoor car parking which is quite difficult to get in / out of and I thought it quite expensive for the night. Thank you Sara for ensuring we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Very nice hotel if visiting Alcoy and The All Saints Market in Cocentaina
Reviewed By KarenVezGood hotel, very clean and the Junior Suites are very spacious and clean. Would definitely visit again. Handy for the bus to the November All Saints Market as you can catch the bus for 1.50 euro each, just round the corner from the hotel. Great restaurant/bar across the road from the hotel and car parking nearby.

Reviewed By twowardspainThis is a charming house, idyllically isolated among the forests and mountains, near Alcoy. The hosts, Luc and Nelly, provide a warm welcome and close attention to all the needs and comfort of their guests, while adhering to the precautions required during the current pandemic. Our superior double room was spacious, well-heated and tastefully furnished with pieces which gave plenty of storage space -- so too, the modern bathroom. Breakfast was individually prepared from fresh ingredients, again adapted for specific requirements and flexibility about the timing of it was much appreciated. Free parking, a kettle and bottled water, in the room, were added bonuses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to make a habit of it! Special thanks to Nelly and Luc for the arduous task of cooking vegetarian meals for us on two nights of our three night stay.

Amazing stay in Alcoy
Reviewed By Larisa CThere is one place that I will never want to leave from Spain when we are there. It is called Casa Timoteo. As you already know we are decorating our apartament and Casa Timoteo is just my style. I got major inspiration from there. It is located in a cute little town called Alcoy that offered us very romantic and peaceful evenings. Their old city center is very charming filled with old buildings and narrow streets and I loved that it wasn’t very crowded. Our apartment was the penthouse, with 2 big terraces and one of them with a breathtaking view. You could see the beautiful blue dome from there. My favorite moment was having breakfast or dinner on this terrace while hearing the music from the church’s bells. Our room and bed was very comfy and also with a great design. I love it when hotels or guests houses put such a big accent on design in order to offer their guests a memorable stay. I simply adored the double sink situation in the bedroom and the golden clothing rack. If you fell in love with their amazing design pieces as I did, you can book few nights in Alcoy at Casa Timoteo and enjoy a beautiful time there!

Nos ofrecieron menú o carta, pero al ver el menú no nos lo pensamos. Los 4 comimos arroz meloso con conejo y costillas de 1º (que estaba para comerse 2 platos) solomillo a la pimienta para 3 y merluza para 1, (también muy buenos), y 4 postres (muy ricos) , bebida y café. ¡10€ por persona! La atención del personal también fue perfecta, y el local amplio, luminoso y limpio. Comimos en terraza. Vamos...que lo único que nos molestó un poco fue una avispa que se acercaba a veces, pero nada grave, lo normal estando en una terraza y en medio del campo. Es un lugar muy recomendable.

Rural home with cool views near Alcoi
Reviewed By DrLepervancheWe went to Alcoy to watch the Three Kings Parade that is one of the most traditional ones in Spain. After the parade we had dinner in a local restaurant and we drove to the Masia after dark. It was a narrow road going up the hills. We arrived and our rooms were ready and they were waiting for us. Both rooms were fine. The best part was in the morning when we were able to walk outside and see the outdoors. Views were great with a wind milla and terraces for farming. It was winter and cold but it was a good decision to know the place. We would like to come back in another season.

The bedrooms are decorated with exquisite taste that encourages comfort and relaxation of guests. All rates and services offered by the hotel are excellent throughout the city and province. Triple and quadruple apartments available.

No English spoken, shower measures 2ft x 3ft, old & tired furniture, threadbare sheets, very small rooms, 3 plug sockets faulty, all documents in Spanish, no hangars in wardrobe, nowhere near bars or restaurants (car needed), Spanish TV only, additional toilet and coffee macine do not exist, no sofa, no toiletries, no parking, high voltage lights creating lots of heat, dangerous glass table top (overbalances) dreadful pillow, REEKS of stale cigarettes - rank throughout.
