Experience historic sites while traveling the pathways of the Underground Railroad in Lancaster County across river valleys, farmland, cities and small towns. Be inspired by a professional historian and storyteller who brings alive this little-known yet significant history from the years following the American Revolution to the outbreak of the Civil War. Gain new perspectives on social issues in America today.

This experience was as much a walking tour of the city of Lancaster as it was about the Mennonite and Amish countryside. I was pleasantly surprised at the vast history of this city. It was a great tour.

I understand that we are all dealing with Covid 19 during this stressful time. However we decided to take this tour and booked many weeks ahead. The tour was cancelled as we were boarding our flight to fly out west and left us stranded. No hotels. Just sent a little email saying I hope you get this email that the tour is cancelled. Extremely unprofessional. Didn’t offer to try to help us make other arrangements. Will definitely hesitate to book on Viator again.

We’ve been waiting to go on this tour for awhile. As soon as my daughter reached 102lbs we booked our tour and traveled 2hrs. Our tour guide Mike was great! He was informative, lively, fun, patient with the training and protective of the kids. The whole experience was great from our 1st step into the meeting place to the end of our tour, the whole staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. We would take the tour again.
