J. Atkinson & Co. have been supplying tea and coffee to the good citizens of Lancaster since 1837 and continue to do so to this day, offering a myriad of speciality teas, coffees and spirits.
If I ever need a coffee or meet friends this is where I go, I recommend this business to colleagues who come through to the area for meetings etc. I use the shop for ground coffee and teas and gifts. I buy the Scottish Whisky from the shop as look for smaller distilleries and items you can't get in the mainstream shops. I always find the the coffee shops to be a calm environment. I enjoyed a chocolate truffle style cake recently. Staff have always been friendly and polite. I mainly tend to go to the hall as it is just because it is in the main Street and I guess I spot it and pop in but I have visited the music rooms and castle too.
