While Kawah Putih has become really expensive, Rengganis Crater offers a more hands on experience to soak in the spring waters, do a face/body mud mask, take photos with a scenic water cascade & experience the sulphurous steam emerging from the ground. Our driver told us there is a Rp 25k per pax charge but it turned out to be free. To get there required a 20min up slope scenic trek (you can pay for a motorcycle to bring you up/down) followed but a 50m descent down the steep stairs. The place is fairly well maintained & clean (Indonesian standard)

We absolutely love Kawah Puteh [White Crater] Such a beautiful scenery, cooler weather & the route leading to it were a sight to behold! Stunning! 5 ????
