Excellent! Frighten me to death. Only thing I would say is I don't think its suitable for under 12s. Definitely don't go in if you have a heart condition, as it does exactly what it says on the tin!

Enjoy a 12 hole pirate golfing adventure and learn about world-famous pirates, including Blackbeard himself!
We took our two girls and their cousin as a treat enjoying a few of the first things to open after lockdown,. such a welcome break watching them run round and have some real adventurous fun. The youngest was in awe of all the pirate kit there, she adores pirates, she was off trying to open up treasure chests and explore! The older girls had great fun and frustrations at getting the balls in, it's challenging enough not to be too easy but easy enough that a 6 year old can manage it (with a little help here and there maybe) And even a 2 year old can join in (with a bit more help) They've got clubs in all sizes so it really can be a full family experience. The staff were super helpful and really friendly. We'll definitely be back again soon. The weather had been a bit chilly and rainy so the course was a touch damp in places, but you've got to expect some weather here.

After a very wet miserable day we decided to ring ahead and see if a bowling lane would be available. Spoke to a lady on the phone who was really helpful. Explained what was available, that bowling shoes weren't being provided at present and what footwear to wear. Details taken and we turned up a few mins before our booking time. On entering the arcade area downstairs we found clear signage, santitiser etc in place along with security and arcade staff. We took the escaltor to the 3rd floor flowing the clearly marked one way system. We were greeted by a member of staff behind a screen in a mask who entered our names in order on the screen to minimise contact and shown to our lane. (we actually had use of the full seating area due to social distancing as only 50% of lanes were being used.) We were told that someone would be over to take our drinks order which was prompt as was the delivery of the drinks. All if this was impressive and we felt relaxed and safe. However the following escalted our experience and deserves recognition. Our youngest son has major sensory issues he wears ear defenders and unfortunately displays facial tics when anxious. A young male member of staff came over after seeing out son put his ear defenders on to check we were ok and asked if the music was too loud and if there was anything he could do to make our experience any better. I assured him that our son was fine but that we really appreciated him asking. He said it was no problem and to please let the team know if they could help with anything. We've had stares, tuts eye rolls in the past so kindness and a fantastic level of customer service is a very welcome change. Well done to all staff at Olympia leisure. After our game we also had some time in the arcades and the machines were cleaned after each person where possible. All in all an excellent experience during difficult times.
