This is a lovely walking route. Going east from Ringwood the route goes towards the New Forest although it does come to a halt after less than two miles. Pity about this. There is an information board about the railway heritage. The path extends further to the west but we have only walked about one mile. The path is very relaxing. Not really suitable for cycles due to being narrow n places and a lot of walkers.

As with all our trips to Burley we have to pop into the coven of witches. I’m a massive gothic fairy fan so we are always looking to what’s new. They also host and organise the new forest fairy festival in August which is a must even if it’s only a one off trip it’s well worth doing!

The Furlong is a charming outdoor shopping centre with stylish stores, a large Waitrose and courtyard cafes. With free parking for 2 hours, centre WiFi and big brands such as Jaeger, Joules and Hobbs; it's the perfect shopping haven on the edge of the New Forest.
