Khyber Pass

Reviewed By ImranSchah - Islamabad, Pakistan

A fantastic trip that normally takes 1.5 hrs from Peshawar to Khyber pass, the passage of ancient travelers, invaders like Genghis Khan and Babur of Farghana, who led the expeditions to Indian subcontinent through this historical pass. The area seems very safe and there are check points of Pakistan army on the highway. Please keep your Pakistan citizen card with you if you are a Pakistani and for foreigners please have 3/4 copies of your passport and visa pages. Foreign female travelers should cover themselves with a shawl, better to wear Pakistani dress with a shawl.
