The butterfly garden was closed, so we almost didn't go, but this zoo was great. The petting zoo with the goats was fun. Seeing a live eagle close up was really cool. Didn't know they look like they're wearing fancy pants. The wallaby walk-about was super neat. I wish I'd have heard the singing dogs sing. My son did some research on them afterwards and they have an interesting story. Great visit.

We LOVE the orchard, and my kids feel right at home here, and love doing the You Pick! The apple cider slushies in the summer are an absolute MUST have, and in the Winter I love that they hold the makers market and have such charming holiday activities for family! We really enjoyed the makers market and they had hot cocoa and warm cider and cookies, and the kids got to get pictures with Santa, and I got to get some really unique one of a kind Christmas gifts, all in one stop! I know right??? Love it!

Welcome to the Artists’ Own Gallery. Artists’ Own is an artist cooperative with members from the Lafayette, Indiana area. They work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, furniture, pottery, fiber, glass, drawing and much more. Find the perfect artwork to compliment your home or office décor and shop for gifts throughout the year. About Artists’ Own In 1999, a group of local artists pursued a dream of creating a unique shop with the goal of bringing art together to share with Lafayette. It would be a venue where they could display their work and offer it for sale to the community. The work had to be of the highest quality and hand made by local artists. The result of this dream was the Artists’ Own Gallery. The gallery opened in 2000 on 3rd Street facing the Courthouse Square. The community embraced the opportunity to see and own great artwork. The success of the business led to relocating the gallery in 2002 to our present, larger location

Clegg Garden resides on the hillside overlooking state scenic waterway Wildcat Creek. The slopes feature a rare gravel hill prairie ecosystem. From creek side to hilltop elevation changes 100 feet, making for excellent hiking opportunity along the mile of trail. The looping trail meanders through oak woodland, gravel hill prairie, riparian corridor and savanna. Different seasons afford varying highlights. Spring woodland blooms dapple the understory, summer prairie and savanna wildflowers show off vibrant colors, fall leaf change presents a panoply of color in the forest canopy. Year round visitors see the striking landscape views from the many overlooks.
