A great place to shop, best rail and bus links also FREE Parking. Nice places to eat and drink and even the beach during summer school holidays besides this many attractions and displays are put on through the year. Marks and Spencer, most of the best super markets and some independent shops. Almost all undercover therefore can take a pavement coffee even in the rain. At the moment a mini train is circling the town. Also disability shop to hire wheelchairs to assist les able visitors. if you've never been give it a try, I don't think it will disappoint.

Had a lovely walk here yesterday. We parked at the road resource centre which is further away so we could enjoy a longer walk. We walked through a woodland area and then over the road to the lake. It’s a lovely stroll around the lake and there were plenty of people also enjoying the dry weather. Plenty of swans, ducks and geese around and on the lake. unfortunately the shop was shut before we finished walking around to it but I’m sure during the warmer months it is jam packed. The walk to our car park and back totalled 3 miles so a longer route if that’s what you’re after.

We love that this pub is dog friendly as long as you sit in the conservatory area or outside, apart from Sunday’s when they are too busy to allow dogs. We regularly go here for large family gatherings and the food is always excellent. They allow you to book a table and sometimes you get the whole conservatory for a large party. The pâté is fantastic! Would highly recommend this pub, good value for money too.

Come and explore our innovative and interactive exhibitions, bringing you the sites sounds and smells of the manor during its 500 year history. We are also the home of the raspberry tea rooms.
Visited this 16th Century Manor House for afternoon tea. The food was excellent and plentiful and the whole ambience of the facilities was superb. Visiting the upstairs rooms added to the overall relaxing and informative visit.

Hired a room for 120 hot buffet after crematorium with an bar open . Food was very nicely presented a good selection. Even managed to provide some gluten free bread and cakes for one of guests when asked on the day . Staff very friendly. Had to request more chairs which they happily supplied due to more turning up than expected . Perfect place to hire after crematorian as its right next door no hassel travelling for everyone.
