Our mission at Banter's Hard Cider is to be on the forefront of the American hard cider renaissance. We aim to create innovative, unique and premium hard ciders by using only the finest ingredients and never compromising our commitment to quality. Offering a constant variety, Banter's menu of novel and uncommon ciders can fascinate even the most cultured of palates.
We have been to Banter's Hard Cider twice now and have not been disappointed. It's a comfortable little bar and the ciders are excellent. Get a flight of all six or seven and you are almost guaranteed to walk out of there with at least one growler. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

Great option for vegan wine lovers! Wonderful experience. Stopped in for a tasting, and discovered that all of their wines and most of their ciders are vegan friendly. Spoke with the owner Misty, who is so kind and provided us with a detailed description and flavor profile for each wine. Thanks for serving it Vegan in the Pocono Mountains! Highly Recommend!!

The Renegade Winery is no conventional winery, crafting our premium wines right in the heart of historic downtown Stroudsburg. The name Renegade was inspired by our unconventional way of thinking about wine and winemaking. We strive to combine both the quality of tradition with the freedom of innovation. Tour the winery to learn about how our wines are produced, then settle into the wine bar and sip on our artisanal wines while indulging in a seasonal cheese plate. For those looking to celebrate a special occasion, we also function as a private event venue, featuring the beautiful winery as a backdrop.
Renegade Winery's selection of wines is very good. You can sample up to five kinds and take home an etched glass as a souvenir. There is a long bar where the bartenders are very attentive and glad to answer any quieries you may have. Seating options include tables for larger groups and a cozy corner with comfortable couches. Food for snacking is available. The decor is very hip and attractive. On display, you'll notice unique artwork and sculptures by local artists that add to Renegade's cool vibe.

We spent the night in stroudsburg as a way station on a long driving trip. We found this place near our hotel and stopped for a happy hour. As wine lovers we couldn’t resist the tasting and got 8 small tastings of different wines for ten dollars. They make their own wines from grapes they bring in. They had some local grapes (Niagara, Vidal Blanc) that produced predictably sweet wines but they were fun to try. The dry wines - which included - Pinot Grigio, Carmenere, pinotage and Cabernet franc were quite good. As wine nerds, we wish more information would have been available about the wines and their production. With the wines we had a delicious Lebanese sampler plate of hummus, baba ghanoush and tabbouli - it all tasted very fresh and just made. Due to COVID we were able to eat outside cafe style and it made for a very pleasant Sunday happy hour.
