Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

Each year we head to New Orleans and each time I go I must stop at the French Market to purchase my annual birthday and anniversary gift along with some Christmas gifts for my Mother-in Law from Hasan Cicek. His jewelry selection is exceptional and always exquisite. I have been purchasing a wide variety of necklaces and earrings from he and his wife for well over the past 10 years. I love the unique design of the jewelry, and Hasan has a vast knowledge of gemstones that truly is incredible! Anatolian jewelry is a place you must visit when you are in NOLA! The variety of gemstones, unique designs and incredible prices are not able to be matched by any other jeweler.

New Orleans' only weekly night-time art market featuring original art and handmade goods by local artists. We provide a family friendly atmosphere filled with wonderful ambience and all the sounds and flavor of Frenchmen Street.
Cute little art market on Frenchman in the heart of everything. You can go different nights and see some of the same vendors but also different vendors. Friendly vendors with everything from wall art/pics, music instruments, jewelry, custom tshirts and so much more.

Get some great buys at this tasty and colorful market from homemade pies and gumbo to blooming orchids and mushrooms.
As with any market like this, yes friends there are some vendors with mass produced crap. Sorry it just comes with rentable spaces, if you worry about all of that then you will miss out on some really great local art and items! I am not a tshirt person (there are plenty of you are) but if you want print, painting and handmade good it is worth a stroll through. I found a gentleman who made some beautiful amazing sugar skulls for my collection and they will explain symbolism for each item, there is lots of local beauty in the French market.
