Our story began with the 2001 Maha Kumbh Mela which was held after 144 years and was therefore termed as the Mela of the century. What started with 50 tents on the banks of Sangam has now grown to be a huge property spread over 10 Acres of land with grand dining hall, recreational centre, yoga centre and shopping arcade. In the past, we have had the pleasure of hosting guests who have bicycled down not just from the Himalayas but also as far as Germany just to witness the Kumbh Mela and unintentionally forming a melting pot of cultures and experiences at the resort itself. One does not have to believe in any religion to enjoy this life altering experience but merely needs an open heart. We have had a privilege to host guests from over 45 countries so far and our well trained multi-lingual team ensures the best of hospitality rendered to our fellow guests. Our aim is to make your experience completely authentic by taking you on an unforgettable spiritual journey of a life-time. Join Us
We planned a visit to the kumbh mela and booked a 2 night stay here online. All responses to my queries were promptly and patiently answered. Check in was quick. Room was spacious. Toilet was neat and as well equipped as possible in the middle of a sand bed. We had a booking for 3 persons. Room was having 2 beds only. The third bed was organised immediately. Similarly we had to request for towels as there was only one set provided. This was a little annoying as booking was for 3 all along. Besides this the only other issue we had was running hot water which was not available till past 7. The shower too didn’t have pressure. Besides the above mostly our experience was good. The food was Satvik - no onion no garlic and no non veg. The food spread was good and tasty in most meals. The tea was available only after 7.30 though tea bags and hot water was available earlier. The arrangement for bed and food for driver was available at a charge of 500 rupees. There was no intercom and mobile very often wasn’t answered. Anyway we weren’t too far from gate so it was ok. We did not see any yoga meditation or massage as advt. maybe all were closed down since kumbh mela was coming to end. The sangam was quite a distance though there was a local place close by for bath as per the reception which we didn’t check out. There was no other cultural activity in the village. It would have been nice if it was planned for the night. However the nights were not quiet as there was a loud speaker playing all night nearby with some talk and music which was a disturbance to sleep all night. Our car got stuck in the sand one evening and we were in a fix as to how to reach before the Aarti at 6. But the management arranged for their vehicle to take us there which was a blessing as we didn’t miss it. We wanted hot water for bath at 5 am as we wanted to visit Kashi temple before we returned. One of the staff was kind enough to ferry 4 buckets of warm water in that unearthly hour. Also we wanted our room cleaned up which they said. Oils be done only if we were around. But they did do the job on special request after we gave the key. Overall we had an enjoyable stay despite the small hiccups mainly due to the hospitable people in there. Will surely recommend this camp for the next kumbh.

My ideal /typical weekend getaway has always been the hills in Uttarakhand. However, with an aging dog and little time at hand we headed to Basiwoods for the New Years Eve. A little skeptical at the beginning, it was a pleasant surprise for us, given the short drive from Delhi and the experience the property offered. The hospitality is sublime and the staff is super helpful. The hosts, Talababu and Faiz, are doing a wonderful job at not just keeping the guests happy but also the upkeep and upgradation they are giving to the property. They are adding a new experience every 3 months; from boat rides to fishing, from off-road drives to cart rides, and more. No wonder their repeat guest percentage is nearly 80%. Well, it just went up with me!

We are best at Kumbh Mela Camp Booking, As Deluxe Tents are the cheaper accommodations available at the Allahabad Kumbh Mela 2019 for the devotees, who are looking for comfortable accommodation other than the luxurious tents. These tents come with an attached toilet & bathroom followed with running water & toiletries
Budget pricing, quality fooding, cleanliness kept in mind, efficient staff...Quite refreshing, been there for the first time but is now willing to visit frequently... peaceful atmosphere amist the water pools.

Earth Home - Home stay, Think about staying near the forest think about Earth Home, situated in Bharai Range of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve Uttar Pradesh. The Earth Home - Homestay is an ideal place to unwind oneself, while one can enjoy, learn, re-discover and rejuvenate oneself with altogether new vigor and vitality, to catch up one’s busy life back home with a new perspective.
This property is a 30 minute drive from the Chukha eco tourism entry point at the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and is in an extremely secluded location right next to another part of the sprawling forest. The property is vast with just a very few rooms and evenings here are truly magical . The service led by harry is prompt and the staff does everything they can to help the guests , including running the generator continuously the night we were there because of an issue with the supply. That said, some immediate improvements are needed- the bathrooms need serious renovation and that tiny basin needs to go right now. The AC's looked like they had not been dusted all season and the bed sheets were not uniform. We also had someone knocking at our door after 10 pm and trying to shine a light at our window, when I asked who this was I received no response but the knocking stopped. I informed harry the lead house keeping person about this and he assured me this was not the norm and that he would look into the incident. The food at the property was great and felt like home cooked food
