We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

The building is very beautiful and has peaceful ambience and surroundings. It was a worth it visit and was very educational with the tour guide explaining in detail the history of Islam and especially the Ismailis (followers of the hereditary Imam, decedent from Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan), The inner court and prayer house is very serene and has a beautiful vista of Toronto from the roof top. While there, visited the Aga Khan Museum, another worth it visit. Smooth check in at front reception desk and the area well planned with very friendly staff. The permanent exhibition downstairs is amazing and gives you an insight into Medieval history of Islam. Very well preserved artifacts to show the glory of that time period. I was lucky to see Caravans of Gold, Fragments in Time exhibition, which opened my eyes to the fact, that Africa was not the DARK Continent the Europeans had been calling it during the medieval times and later.

This large convention center is easily accessible from Union Station and is close to the Rogers Center. There are several levels to the convention hall and all are accessible. The facility is well maintained and is clean and modern. Fan Expo is held here each year along with things like the One of a Kind Craft Fair. Many conventions are held here. If you are a tourist in town just wander in to see the facility - it is just west of Union Station on Front Street.

I have been visiting Toronto Congress Centre for trade shows at least 20 years. This year I was really impressed of the quality and variety of the Concession restaurants buffet lunch. Food is fresh and tasty, has many healthy choices, eat there every day for 3 days. Thank you for keeping up with the trends! The coffee stand in the North Building also had excellent latte. Impressed also by the cleanness of the exhibit halls and washrooms, overall a pleasure to visit this professional facility.
