My wife and I stayed at this hotel in May pre (1 night) and post (4 nights) walking the Camino (O’Cebrerio to Santiago). Communication with Ines leading up to our stay was excellent. She answered all our questions and was very helpful. The hotel is situated in an excellent position, close to the Cathedral and central to everything. You can walk everywhere. Our first stay, we arrived at the hotel and collected our keys from a neighbouring hotel, which was pre arranged. Our apartment was situated up on the third level, and unfortunately there is no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up. The apartment was spacious, clean and consisted of a bedroom, bathroom, lounge room and kitchen. The views over the adjoining square and the roof of the cathedral were stunning. And with all the windows double glazed, external noise was not a problem and all the windows could be opened to allow fresh air and noises of the area (church bells, buskers, locals) in. Our second stay was post walking the Camino and staying at this apartment for a few days was just what we needed. Making use of the washing machine in the apartment was a saving grace!!!! Wifi was strong, quick and reliable. Our only negative was the noise from the air conditioning units from the other two apartments was quite loud in our apartment. Thanks Ines and Dana for two great stays. I would highly recommend staying here.

Found this little apartment close to the cathedral but not on a major traffic thoroughfare. The staff at the shop with the keys were incredibly helpful. The apartment was clean and the only complaint is the wifi was lousy. The best part was that it was quiet at night. Many of the old laneways in Santiago are noisy until dawn as revellers make their way home yahooing in the streets. The laneway at this apartments isn't one of those thoroughfares. Would definitely use again.

Have made it a regular thing to book the Lux Hotel nicely located a mere 50m from Plaza Galicia in Doutor Teixeiro. This is also your reception where you need to check in for the apartments which are some 500m further away at the top end of Mestre Mateo. We had some issues at the beginning of our stay with the wifi not working at all and it took them 4 days and discussions with 4 different people of their reception to get it fixed. Also other minor issues, but persistence paid out. As to location it is facing the university campus and it can be noisy on the weekends if you want to sleep with open windows, but otherwise very nicely equipped - we booked a two bedroom apartment - with two separate bathrooms and all very clean. If you rent a car upon arrival at Santiago do not worry about parking; at nearby public parking at Plaza de Vigo you can book a flat for two weeks of EUR 47 no matter how many times you enter/exit the parking. A very good deal actually if you consider that at Plaza Galicia you pay EUR 13,50 per 24h parking. I am from Santiago and visit at least twice a year, have done Airbnb for some nice places around the cathedral, but liked this place.

Inferniño is the perfect way to enhance your Santiago experience. Our apartments either have wonderful views of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela or overlook our secluded garden, where the beauty of two camellia trees is gently accompanied by the sound of our fountain. The decoration, with eye-catching details such as the ancient oak flooring or the granite paving stones in the parlour, is an artful blend of contemporary design mixed with tradition, constantly reminding you of the timelessness of both the building and its surroundings.
