Sagastrand Beach Resort is located on Olango Island, a small island just outside Cebu. From the resort there is a 10 min walk to the famous Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary. There is also a fish sanctuary just outside the beach. The resort has 40 m white beach line and consists for the time being of 2 houses and a restaurant. The houses have high standard and a very nice garden with possibilities for several different activities like swimming in the swimming pool, mini golf, billiard, volleyball and relaxation beside the swimming pool or in one of the beach houses to mention a few. The houses have very nice terraces with sea view. The daily life on Olango Island has not changed significantly the last few generations, so tourists will have an exotic backpacker experience visiting the island.

They said they love the place since everything is affordable and we went there also one time. The place looks good. Cebu Residencia Lourdes is just 10 minutes from the beaches and very near Mactan International Airport. It is 3km away to the Mactan beaches, Lapu-Lapu Monument, and Mactan Shrine. Their facilities includes Internet access on rooms, dry cleaning / laundry services, and restaurant / cafe / bar.
Spacious Room and Quiet Surrondings
Reviewed By myla lCONS: 1. There are no toiletries. 2. Far away from the City. Around 2hrs getting there. 3. We booked this place, thinking it is near the airport. It was stated it's 1.9km but it's really 8.6km since you have to go around the airport to get to this location. 4. We got this for PHP2,500 on booking.com and when we were there they stated that we should pay P2,800 since it did not include the VAT. 5. Some rooms are good while some room needs some fixing. We booked 2 rooms. Room 1 sink is not good and aircon is not cold unlike Room 3. PROS: 1. Provided towels. 2. Quiet place, since it is a village. 3. Near the Lapu Lapu Shrine and 10,000 roses. 4. In front of the residents, there are food and stalls you can buy from. 5. Rooms are very spacious. It includes a dining room and a wash area where you can put in your wet clothes. 6. You can do late check out for free. 7. You can request for room service. Where they can clean the room and change the beddings. 8. There are koi fishes as well. 9. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very easy to talk to.

Exceed my expecations
Reviewed By Chris WChecking in was a little hard as was changing our check out time. But this is a serviced apartment. The rooms were great. Kitchen was well provisioned in terms of equipment and pots and pans and the like. I enjoyed our stay. The pool was generally clean. The showers were small, but proportional. :) Had a great time. We booked through GetARoom /hotels/mactan-seaside-apartments.

steadily declining standard of service

Checked in 11/30/2017. since arriving:- 1) internet not working 2) aircon needed servicing 3) room uncleaned 4) laundry MIA do yourself a favor, don't stay here. it maybe be cheap but as the saying goes " you get what you pay for" There is no visible management or supervision in place.

no water, no zircon
Reviewed By appleManilai booked my 2 nannies here when my family stayed in crimson. > phone number is very difficult to find online. > the receptionist is not a trained person so be warned > first night, the aircon was busted. my nannies woke up bathed in sweat and only got a different room the succeeding nights. > there is no water night time. the nannies had to bring up pails of water to their room to bathe. > no breakfast. nannies had to ask receptionist to buy cup noodles and instant coffee for breakfast. i guess this would be okay if you can: > call ahead of time to determine water schedule and ensure a working air-con in your room before your stay > bring bread or crackers for breakfast > price is very low but you get what you pay for
